Aftermarket Exhausts
All I can say is geese, think about this take ONE maccas straw. now breathe thru it. Im sure you can breathe thru it. now take two. and breathe thru them. much easier isnt it? Just because a part isnt TOTALY restricting a combination from making power, doesnt mean it isnt a restriction. Turbos can be decpetive as you can generally add a few psi at times to help conceal some smaller restrictions ( eg. standard intercooler plumbing ). One little thing for you to go and research, is that straight pipe flows easier than bends. so banging on about its not standard and therefore must be sub-performing makes no sence. Not everthing is engineered to perfection. sometimes things are made to budget ( shock horror! ) Humans ARE failable, therefore no one human build thing is going to even aproach, much less attain, perfection. There are a couple of books on turbocharging, one being turbos by hugh mcinnes, and maximum boost ( I think ) by corky bell. These two guys have forgotten more than most of us will know. I strongly doubt that they or ANYONE who is half serious about attaining performance in a turbocharged setup wouldn't advocate the use of a better designed, LARGER dump pipe. 4000cc + 15 psi = lots of very hot and turbulent exhaust gasses to remove. I nearly fell over when I saw the design of the stock dump.. very cost driven design I think. but anyway, feel free to disagree, argue, be stroppy or etc. Facts are facts and being loyal to a company who nolonger holds the leading edge and bashin those that dare to speak against them is rather senseless. Its called competition, and that improves the breed.

Hoons On Today Tonight
Good point Jimmy, I've been banging on about that same point for years, but noone listens. Personally I do over 100K klms a year and I havent been involved in any incidents. its all about due care and attention couipled with proper training, not these "ROAD TOLL STATISTICS". Narrow the criteria down and you can make any statistics favorable. Most crashes I see are teh result of stupidity rather than any other factor!

Yeah, I Agree. that's why I limit my exposure to the lies.. I dont like to apear ignorant, not to BE ignorant, but sometimes we can be too wrapped up in other peoples problems. in-so-much-as ones that we need not concern ourselves with. The Iraq crap was pretty much the last straw. I now concern myself with trying to make my life and my familys life as comfy and safe as I can

Hoons On Today Tonight
Ok fair call, but look from my perspective. We are fed Biased or lightly doctored news to encourage us to believe whats wanted. Im not into conspiracy theorys, but have been around certian events that have been majorly twisted to suit whatever the journo's goals at the time were.. Hence I dont trust the media. Even though I try not to saturate myself in the media, I cannot help getting it from time to time. Im not afraid of the news, so long as its TRUTH. As far as problems, I dont ignore them. Give me something I can achieve a positive result on and I will do it. We the people stand divided. Until we re-unite we are powerless. The majority of our issues come fro mthe inability and Lack of desire from the greater community to achieve a satisfactoy and positive outcome for all. There is enough issues for me trying to run my buisness within the hyper-competitive industry which I work, for me to be picking up on things happening OS that I cannot affect through inaction or action.

Our biggest problem is the Media is shaping our country. We are walking the same path as the USA. I refuse to watch tv, read newspapers and I try not to listen to the news on the radio. As a direct consequence, the world seems like a very nice place :D the problems out there are generally over blown, mis-represented and one sided in whatever way seems "shocking" and that will gather ratings. The general population dont understand that media is privatley owned and as such, is run in the way most conductive to PROFIT. Long gone are the days ov having a media that reported truth in an unbiased fasion.

Sold Car To Broker
Purchases of second hand goods from a private person "shouldn't" gather GST, But the buisness selling to another buisness, must charge GST so assuming a 26K sell price to the dealer, $2,364 GST $23,636 Item cost so the broker might have been part of the dealership, or has a deal to sell some ars on their lot maybe?

Help,
You should be able to obtain a copy of the RW guidelines and ETC, get them from vic roads and read them. If this f*cker ignores the guidelines he is supposed to follow, just push upwards to his supervisor. that attitude is BS and should not be tollerated in any way shape or form. One cop pulled me over a few years ago and saw the said paperwork and commented on it.. after being told why it was there I was allowed on my merry way no other questions asked. DO NOT BE TRODEN ON! but on the same token, treat others with the respect you wish to be treated..

Turbo R1
Is that the green one? Pops mono's at 300km/h+ !!! ← This one is black, not the gohst rider one. insane fast. I thought the speedo was in klms, but it was in miles. I looked closer and saw the kph markings. I dont know how they hold onto it!

Speeding
Take the things you have seen with you when you venture onto the road and all should be well I have seen too many morons get awarded their licences for being able to park, but they cannot drive on a freeway at speed nor mrege at speed to save themselves. EVERY new driver shuld be Trained and tested via an advanced driving course, Be made to visit the moruge to see the results of IDIOT behavior, and spend a few days in a semi, to see just how dangerous it is when people cut vehicles off at lights to get "pole position" or when they carelsley change lanes and ETC. The amount of people, both young and old that I have nearly cleaned up in the last two weeks due to their inattention and inpaitence is nothing short of lunacy. Safe Driving all!!

Xr6t's With High Km's
95K klms still going strong! straight up klms dont mean much, you need to know the STYLE of klms its done. HWY/Country klms are MUCH softer than city klms. in reality there shuold be an engine hour meter that show us the hours run time vs klms to help make the assesments. My truck for example has over 1.6 million klms and is still very tight ( body wise, the engine has had it obigitory rebuild at 1.4mill. ) vs the old truck I had that was absolutley buggered at the 1.1 mill mark, but it spent its life in the traffic, wherer the new one is ex interstate so therefore, easy klms.

Good Panel Beaters In Melbourne?
Get the little plugs that are used on the utes when they go hardcovers. they plug into the hole where the tonnau clips normally go, easier than welding and easy enough to revert if you want to go to a spoiler of some sort
