  1. yea it will. not 100% on the offset required, but with guard rolling and 275's there isn't a problem.
  2. donna, its pretty easy to fix. buy a remote off ebay and the instructions for coding it your car are in the manual. takes like 2 minutes tops.
  3. perhaps more than 1 hahaha!!
  4. I got in there with a deep socket, and solid extension. manouver the socket in there with nothing attached, once he is in place attach the extension and ratchet and you are away!
  5. just had a look on carsales and there aren't any advertised in nsw new. 2 in vic, qld and wa but.. not a very good attitude when someone is trying to spend 65k!
  6. have a read here: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...c=32271&hl=
  7. sounds normal, nothing to be worried about

when I was pulled up in my younger days going for the land speed record, the officer told me they had successfully pulled over someone a few months prior on a bike doing 300+ on the freeway.

its a good stretch of road, not that unsafe in my books.. but that's me.
  10. its not hard to build a birkin for $40-$50k see http://antilag.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13524
  11. lsd promotes OVERsteer, but not until you are really pushing it. for street driving the open centre may be fine, but will really struggle off the line in the wet with any sort of throttle.
  12. have a look through topics started by paradoxx as I know he had a crack at fixing the problem himself, and I remember seeing some pics of the box opened up. may have been posted up by ninka but, they fixed it together iirc
  13. sorry for the late reply, mine was fixed once under warranty, then I did a t56 conversion the next time it went. try driving around without any of the gear surround for a week or 2 to see if that makes a difference, that was recommended to me when I asked the same question. if double clutching get rid of the problem its syncro's for sure, give that a go too.
  14. mine broke syncro's for 5th and 2nd gears. I think they bend input shafts too.
  15. was your car on street tyres!?! nice job either way!
  16. torque converter lockup 100%. nothing to be worried about.
  17. there are ppg straight cut kits for the t5, but its not cheap and wont last. the t56 is by far the best option. the changeover should be able to be done for <$4k. it is possible to do it at home, I have had the gearbox out at my house before, but it is fiddly and you will need mates. the exedy clutch will work with the t56. you will need a crossover and tailshaft yolk to suit the t56, but it will come in the kit from mal woods if you go that way.

    springs and shocks
  19. nice car mate, my boss has the sport one. im glad you got a fuel card, hers is shocking on fuel. sounds awesome on song but!
  20. my standard clutch didn't like flat shifting with only a generic tune.
  21. people are getting quotes of around 600 per side fitted from pedders I think. I did mi myself, only special tool you need is a deep 35mm socket. took about a day to do both sides with a few mates. I think you can get tailshafts from wreckers for a few hundred. I paid 260 a side for 2nd hand cv's from a wrecker
  22. the girl in the 1st post is very hot, 01txr has a good looking missus, and a rude head (jjks), and purv has done very well. the cars rims and stickers are not to my taste, but I like the mirrors. photoshoot gets an a+ from me!! 2.2c inc GST
  23. be aware that the ferodo 2500 pads aren't available to suit the standard ba caliper. I have 2000's and factory rotors and was very impressed with that setup at the track.
  24. ba xr8 rims will fit over the big brembos (the factory 6 pots at least) bf 18's wont. ba typhoon rims will also.
  25. that looks perfect with the 18's man.. whats that guys name in your pic up there plums, is it aaron? looks real familiar.
