  1. Probably a stupid question, but did you let any of those that went on previous cruises, but are no longer regular on the forum, know about the trip?
  2. I know - not pics, but the younger folk have never had these adds on telly during dinner (with the folks) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_05SFyt2Rw
  3. Still the best lingerie add ever
  4. I've got a couple of BBQ temp probe things from Bunnings - cheap, $30 things that you stick the probe in the meat, close the lid and use the hand held device to read the temp remotely. The alarm (you can set to do a buzzer when it reaches a certain temp) pisses me off because it's so quiet. Or so I thought. "Shut that bloody thing off" my son yelled at me. Apparently the buzzer in this is at that pitch that people over 30 can't hear - didn't believe I was getting old til I heard about the "mosquito" ring tones kids were using in class so their teachers wouldn't hear. Was the first slap in the face for me. This one is just another. Major design flaw, but can't really blame the young punks who made and tested it.
  5. Judgement day may be a bit further away than we think
  6. FFS - my cousin just posted on FB that her daughter just got her first period and now all her friends are clucking on about it. Is this normal now?
  7. 7kg brisket, ribs and pork belly just arrived. I think this weekend will be filled with meaty goodness
  8. Add my son to my list - will drag him along. You're not wrong about fuel. Last weekend one of the bikes ran out and another was stressing between Bairnsdale & Omeo due to closed petrol stations. I booked my room through wotif - too easy, there was no answer when I phoned.
  9. The talk above made me think of this. Don't think I'll order one next time I'm at the RSL
  10. Almost as bad when there's a wall of empty urinals and f*ckknucle decides to use the one next to you.
  11. Took the bikes down through Gippsland Spent the days riding and the nights at the pub. Stayed at the pub so once they shut we kicked on in the beer garden.
  12. Wrecked. Bring on the weekend so I can catch up on the sleep I didn't have over the long weekend.
  13. We could just collect road kill on the way?
  14. Took off Friday night with some mates. Wonthaggi the first night and Bairnsdale tonight. Good to be back riding again - been at least a year since I threw the leg over for some decent k's
  15. Booked in :D Will have a spare CB and am happy for anyone wanting to car hop to jump in mine at any time. Will be bringing my son, but he's just as happy in the back as in the front
  16. Were probably vaccinated too
  17. They're awesome Sadly the phone I have now doesn't use them so I've got a few lying around doing nothing :( Gladly the phone I have now lasts a couple of days before going flat so it isn't as big an issue as I thought it would be. Screw all this "make the phone as thin as a crepe" crap - add the extra couple of mm's for a decent battery and a wireless charging system and everyone would be happy
  18. Fill the hole with cement - improves acoustics with the bass and solves the saggy carpet dilemma
  19. I7, 256gb, $1730 delivered - bundled with the type cover and the dock Think retail is $1820'ish for just the tablet http://www.compnow.com.au/store/store/tablets/surface-pro-3 if interested - legit supplier, have used them for years Basically get a free dock and keyboard and half decent discount on the unit itself edit: they also are doing the bundles on the I3 and the I5
  20. Just bought (another) Windows Surface Pro 3 at a good price - not sure if it counts as cool or not though
  21. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSF4RxpkbTs
  22. Am now impressed. Have the main action on the big screen and my choice of 5 other in car cams on the lappy
  23. Man - you could get a job in NSW dreaming up plate names to sell and spamming them to forums Good reason to buy though - same reason I did
