  1. Man, that's going to be a 10k brake upgrade! I spoke to race brakes today about a brake upgrade for our rims. He said to call back in a week, as there's something in the making (or there abouts.)
  2. It made 407 at the shop where it was tuned, in summer.
  3. that's my latest dyno sheet. Mind you that xft didn't do that tune. The tune was done by a different shop. I got the valve springs and a power run at xft recently. That's the reason for the xft print out
  4. Everything is stock, traction wise. I have pretty sticky tyres on the back, but not as sticky as the invos
  5. Is that stalling the car up and then flat tacking it? I have 400kw and can't break traction. Ever
  6. From your experience, is that likely to fit up to the factory rim?
  7. I spoke to race brakes in Sydney many months ago and he said he was looking into a performance upgrade that would fit under the g6et 19. Has anything come from this? I remember you saying the the harrop would fit underneath the front, but not the rear Dave?
  8. Worst. Advice. Ever. Haha
  9. Yeah, I've put my hand up already. Make note STIFLR! Haha
  10. Haha. Only stirring mate. I feel the same with my car. So many more things I could do, but really can't justify the money. I've already gone over my budget, but that trutrac is always in the back of my mind. Maybe a Xmas present to myself
  11. I heard you were trying to sell yours Dave? Hehe
  12. I think if you asked ss or g6et on a Expensive Daewoo forum, a lot of the unbiased guys would say go the g6et. It is a better package. It won't do skids like the ss, but that's not why you are buying a g6et. To put the 2 in comparison, my mate has a ss ute with all the mods without opening the engine. Mine, when it was stock beat him convincingly. He now wants a g6et. A lot of Expensive Daewoo guys that get beaten by a luxury car are left wondering why they bought a slower, less feature packed car. In holdens defence, the 6.x litre engine sound so much better than our droning 4 litre. I have a twin 3 inch and the car is embarrassing.... Until it gets on boost.
  13. I've got ego/cashmere. Sexy combo, as is silhouette/black, white/black. Mine is an 08, and the cashmere has held really well. No intruding signs of wear
  14. Sounds like valve springs. If you have a flash tuner, you can look for fault codes to see if it's going in limp mode etc. if its doing these symptoms without throwing fault codes, my money is on valve springs. Budget $1000 for valve springs and hope you get change
  15. No of course we wouldnt buy them. that is the selling point. I would buy a calais v v8 and supercharge it if the g6et wasnt around. STIFLR! how much for your wheels? and when? me want!

    The 400 Mission

There has been a new tune and actuator put in the car since that post. It was once lazy but it has been resolved now. Im running the process west stage 3 cooler kit, so whatever piping is in the kit is what I'm running. Does my graph look similar to yours?

    The 400 Mission

My car on 21psi has been holding up well except the faltering valve springs, and the rear left wheel bearing had shat itself. Im holding off on the valve springs as its keeping my fuel economy down at the moment by not putting my foot into it as much
  21. yep. I agree
  22. for a bit more money, its better to rebuild your own bottom end with stronger parts than the fpv. the big cost is taking the engine apart... and not being with a car whilst the work is being done

    The 400 Mission

it hasn't done it again do I'm not to worried about it to be honest. I was thrashing it and it was a hot day, if that would have something to do with it

Will the car pop if it keeps misfiring?

    The 400 Mission

Just got a fault code saying random misfire and the car ran rough for a few minutes. Then when I looked in the sct box, it had a few other misfires in cylinder 1. Anything to be worried about?
