  1. Fg has notoriously noisy head unit. I had to put a high end sound processor in mine to get rid of the noise. There is still a faint noise there now, but the money it costs to fix it has outweighed the annoyance it gives me everyday
  2. Is the 3576 the new flavour of the month? Nothing wrong with the spool time with the 3582...
  3. Mine has been fine up until recently, so I'm going to assume that there is a problem. I'm getting my box rebuilt in the coming weeks, so ill let you know the condition and level of the oil.
  4. My symptoms of the gearbox are exactly the same Steve. Got a zf service 10000kms ago and it has started playing up withing the last 3000kms
  5. Na. I'm gonna stick with mine. Too costly to change over
  6. A mate that was going to come has bailed. Can't see it being much fun being by my lonesome in the car. Haha. Next time
  7. Might make an appearance. How many have you got going?
  8. I'm feeling the effects of having no car ATM. Car went in for diff and tailshaft yesterday. Originally, it was going to be ready today lunch time. Now tomorrow lunch time. Having no car sucks! I'm in Perth
  9. Cool. Been wanting to do it for a long time, but I've been slack. Seeing your pics has given me a little motivation to get it done. Car looks good man. Defo c63 looking, in a good way
  10. What did you do to spray the grills and fog light surrounds? Did you need to remove the front bar?

Photo compressor online. Type it into google
  12. Don't go through ford. Get a shop that deals with zf's to do the job. Budget between $3500-$5000 for a rebuilt box with extra clutch packs and a strengthened input shaft.
  13. wa diff centre
  14. You will need an LSD centre. The gears will bolt in no problems
  15. Really? My diff is getting done on Wednesday and the guy said that there are 3.23s in stock and he can get them. I might give him a ring and make sure he can in fact get them
  16. A truetrac is a truetrac as far as I'm aware. They are on special at around $1200 at the moment. There was no mention of different types when I ordered mine just last week. It's an expensive exercise once you allow $500~ for the gear set, and new bearings if needed. The real cost is in labour though, so don't skimp too much as the cradle might be out again in the near future if luck isn't on your side.

    Kicking 2

They will spin 2 wheels until the load is uneven, then it's typical open wheel
  18. You did the axles when the driveshaft was done? Or are you referring to axles and driveshaft as the same thing
  19. Did the stock axles fail?
  20. for anyone wanting one, it is an m86 for g6et/xr6t. it is the same diff, just the g6et has an open centre. got sent the wrong diff for my g6et the other day. eagerly waiting on the right diff to get here
  21. 18 pound out of the small turbo would be creating really hot air. I would imagine that its way out of its efficiency rating at 18 pound. Maybe that's why it feels sluggish?
  22. Is the Harrop trutrac replacement for the g6et as follows? Part number: 99-TTRC9837-00 Truetrac Ass VL-VT1 & XF-FG BW78
  23. That's cheap! Is that with a 1000hp warranty?
  24. How much is an fg hardy spicer tailshaft with new unis and centre bearing?
