  1. personally I would prefer these over the Herrod lowered leaf, mine used to tramp something terrible. Where as the stock spring would hardly ever tramp...
  2. Well you can, but there's not much point! and the Stock manifold IS a BIG TURD!
  3. I presume you're doing this so you don't have to change your exhaust manifold? which is the main problem! I was going to have a GT35 with T04Z internals made up, but I was strongly advised against it. I'm sure Leigh will be along soon to explain his garden hose example
  4. I was talking to a copper the other day who was lasering people from an undercover SS... he had the usual sunshades on the rear window, etc, etc... AND the usual full size numberplates, which to me always screams "coppers!" he was a top guy, he even let me have a go at the laser! anyway, the point to my story is if they can't even go to the trouble of fitting slimline number plates to make the car look more civilian, then why would they go to the trouble fitting out a clapped out old Land Cruiser that could be quite dangerous for the police in a pursuit situation!
  5. yeah, I donno about that... sounds like hoaxes to me! did you they offer you any form of identification?
  6. THAT'S the main difference... if it's gold plated you'll instantly have 500kws!
  7. that crazy dude, with seemingly simple mods!
  8. that's crazy mate... really good stuff!
  9. the big Nizpoo 102mm system has a similar setup... so it obviously works...
  10. I am a fan of those rims!
  11. the very same 'box blips in the jags... so one would think it's possible...
  12. I think we have a case of the old chinese whispers here... it sounds like an extended version of the "post 06/06 build XR6Ts having typhoon long motors" which of course is true, but I think he or someone he has spoken to has stretch it a little bit
  13. yeah, but WHY is it uncontrollable?
  14. yicks, that's painful!
  15. just out of interest, could you get 320-330 from an FG with just injectors and a tune? and maybe a "hi-flowed" cat?
  16. I had my old BA flashed with a tuner... fried the clutch, flash it back to stock and took it in... they replaced the clutch AND the gearbox, no questions asked! Having said that, I had the centre muffler removed and I was told by the same service manager that if I didn't return it to stock and come back and show him he would void my drivetrain warranty! So, I donno...
  17. that's very nice dude, who made your covers?
  18. see, now THAT'S what I'm talking about! none of the poofy 10 x 4" chrome tips out the back, just one dirty, black ar$ehole hanging out the back... if I got an FG, that would be first on the list!
  19. haha, funniest post ever! what about victorian coppers? can you listen in on them? I'm mainly interested in the pursuit cars, not foot petrol etc...
  20. The issue is, the ZF has it's own computer and makes it's decisions based on inputs from the engine's computer, where as the old BTR setup had a common computer controlling both the engine and transmission. The edit can only change the parameters in the engine's ECU. but it can give the auto "bent" signals to make it perform the way you wish, the same way a Unichip or Xede controls the engine. BUT, I have been told the Sniper tuning system can tune the ZF directly, but I'm not 100% on that...
