Its not really a mod to gain power its more for reliability takes stress off the rods and bearings

I have the powerbond 20% underdriven kit, comes with new balancer, idler pulley, tensioner pulley and belt, the balancer reduces torsional vibration and aids in engine longevity, as far as the under driven side of things it just makes the steering ever so slightly heavier at idle, barely noticable, I would recommend this kit

Yeh the coolant would be low but most times you can see milkshake in te header tank but really id have to get ids on and have a look myself to diagnose properly.., only guessing really

Yep seen this a few times you will get a new pulley and belt under warranty, youl have to get it towed though

Blocked cat produces the more severe symptoms whereas collapsed/blown out cat will throw catalyst efficiency codes etc depends how its been tuned though if at all

Oh sorry lol youl have to either take it to ford or if someone u know has an sct x3 or a garage with a scan tool, however ford is your best bet as their scan tool is the most detailed without pc interfaces for the x3
