  3. I wouldnt go servering it
  4. The "star" tool is a t40 torx bit and the covers on the clamps just pop off the reveal a normal 7mm clamp bolt.... I dont remember them having those covers though?? Anyway repco will have torx bits
  5. Nice work throw some pics up
  6. Lol it should fire up fine and run around ok for a while but with 20psi boost I wouldnt hope for reliability, good luck! I guess im in a similar predicament running over 500hp thru bf1 rods lol
  7. If I could I would include a can of it in every service I do, done properly through the injector holes it really is the sh*t!!!
  8. Not telling cos your reusing the bolts lol
  9. Directly from ford workshop manual= Rundown all bolts to 30nm Retighten in sequence to 90 deg +/- 5 Back off all bolts except front and rear Tighten all bolts except front and rear to 40nm in sequence Rotate bolts 90 degrees +\- 5
  10. Yes fg f6 shorts use mahle forged pistons and fg blocks have different dipstick location
  11. Ah, postage wont be much even still
  12. Lol brisbane, im always happy to help forum members with prices
  13. Il even find out staff price on headbolts for ya, should be almost half price
  14. that's just off the top of my head il post the ford procedure tomoro, do yourself a favour and just get some arp head studs, never have to worry again.. Otherwise the one thing you skimp on may be the thing that lets you down, you have been warned
  15. Yep run down all bolts to 30nm first then tighten 90 degrees then undo them then retorque to 40nm then a further 2 90 degree turns.... Il recheck it tomoro as iv printed that page and stuck it on the wall next to my toolbox,
  16. 310 is great for the street, I ran around on 300 for six months now running 385rwkw, the 300 was so easy to live with and this still is to but 300 was much more streetable as far as traction goes... Hope u have enough self control to stay away from the big tune day to day, if so your a better man than I, lol, youl love it
  17. I dont know... There seem to be some issues coming from the atomic camp atm... Have heard a shocker but that's as far as il go with that... Everyone makes mistakes
  18. Every time iv done a head under warranty I used new bolts no problems?
  19. Yep I have seen broken guides and stretched chains do it.... Chain jumps a tooth, pcm uses vct to correct so it idles and drives as normal... You can tell without even taking the engine apart by comparing Vct actual and vct desired PID's... Normally engine light comes on though? But being tuned who knows
  20. What boost/power u running? Why you would reuse them is beyond me... Shell out once for a good set of studs that you know will hold the head down at most power levels... Reusing factory bolts is a guessing game, im suprised they didnt snap when you "re torqued" them.... Tensile strength is completely lost after they are torqued up initially then undone
  21. 7:10 "these head bolts can only be used once" they are torque to yeild which means they stretch when torqued up to spec, absolutely do not re-use stock headbolts
  22. Nooooo.... Headbolts are torque to yeild
  23. Profile autosports cleveland- call clint 0438 355 880 , cheaper than most and very experienced
