Hate ,how the 'fat cats' at work get paid sh*t loads of $$$$$, only to be told/explained the mechanics of business . You 're constantly attenting meeting, and you find yourself , constantly rebutting the issues , as they simply 've no idea .........why 're these individuals here ?, why do we pay them so much $$$$ ?. I come away from endless meeting feeling , alone and negative!!!. Why is that these 'fat cats' seem to have no clue(get away with it), yet , I am constantly having to front up and remind these d _ _ k he _ds that they should treat their business as thou it was their own .......and why would they risk the future of this business , with those decisions ..???. How !!!!! do these retards can employed in the first place ?????????? No sooner as one is found out, moved on, another prized dumb ass , fills the role and then you 're having to start all over again ...........It wears you down !!!

Senna_T is spot on ...............We are running 225/35/R19 on the front and 265/30/R19 on the rears ..........I recall kicking the walls of the tyre and there isnt much there .. So I guess , we need to look at a taller tyre if we are going to stay with the 19' wheels - so to improve comfort on highway runs . Senna_T wasnt wrong when he said 'the boxster is a lightweight' - although under load , and on passing 3 double b in a row , you are grateful for the firm suspension - just hand on and put you foot down and no waiting for the revs to build - you 're off ..

Recently , my sister in law asked if I could help her in the purchase of a 2012 Porsche Boxster S .. More than happy too was my reply .. So I set out talking the talk, and walking through the urgly process - all too familar with sales persons .. Having sat through many demo drives , I finally arrived at a 2012 Porsche Boxster - held by a elder lady with just over 10,000k's and having been equipped with 19' and low profile tyres from new . The drives through the streets and freeways of Melbourne , provided a exhilarating driving experience , both in 'normal' mode and again in 'sports plus'. - Real pocket rocket with go kart qualities .. - Sold !!! Now ..........over the weekend , I was luckly to be the co driver in the Porsche on a trip to Swan Hill , and boy , from the get go, that suspension quality that I fell in love with during the demo drive , was soon the topic of discussion for 3 hours for all the wrong reasons .. You felt all the flaws in the road , and shook the car from one bump to the next - You felt the drive through the leather seats and through the steering wheel. It was only when you passing cars at 150k's , that you appreciated the solid drive. I can recall thinking during the demo drive , I should drop the bat mobile (GT335) , and look to improve its stance and road handling , however , having endured 6 hrs in the Porsche , I am pleased to say , I think I will shelf that idea .. I think I now know why the elder lady sold the car .. hahaha. My daughter recently sold the Honda Civic Type R for the same reasons.. Is there any way - you can retain the current stance of the car, but give you some softness , compliance during higher highway speeds ??

Interesting reading a article from the FPV engineers before they sold out back to Ford , stated in short , that they had build a 351kw - 375kw engine - with air - water intercooler , but due to a number of reasons the project did not proceed - however , one of reason stated , that they felt that the drive train - in its current format was not sufficient to hold the increase in KW , and changes would be required in both the rear diff , tail shaft and ZF transmission.. When I read the KPM post , I though , wow , purchase the package , and I am sweet for a 500+ kw package , which is realiable , and very close to factory .. then I read , unless you alter the internals - you cant run the package at better than 13psi ..........but there is no mention of the concerns the Prodrive engineers had with rear diff internals, tail shaft, and ZF transmission ?? So , I guess , I am asking , if I am looking to purchase the 500+ KW package, what is the **total cost** to run the package as a 'factory type' set up ......? That is , 2300 Supercharger, air-water intercooler, pulley, internals , what changes are required in the rear diff, axle, ZF transmission , tail shaft , etc .. The more research I uncover, the more , it suggests , either , leave things well alone , or purchase something else ..? I will be interested to hear what others have read and or learned .

At the start , I tossed and turned whether to give up the BF F6 , and move back into the V8 rather than the FG F6.. I finally elected the FG 335.. Tick ...........Now , I am tossing and turning as whether to leave the car alone or as so many seem to do , start modding . I guess , as much as we sometimes like to think that 'this' car will be it / forever, inevitability something else comes along and we change ..- change as a result of something better, something different and as a result of other factors . I guess , once , I decide to move away from 'stock' and move into mod's .............should one elect to retain the 1900 Herrod Supercharger , in the event to re - instate back to factory , or should it be sold ? - Is there a market for a second hand 1900 Factory Herrod Supercharger ? I would very much appreciate the thoughts of those in a similar position - stock or mod ? and whether , if you elect to mod, do you retain the OEM parts ?

My understanding on talking to Holden , was that the initial orders(taken in May 2013) were filled for expected delivery in Sept 2013 , with orders taken now - purchased not expecting to see their car until Nov/Dec 2013 , or possible Jan 2014 . They have not been build to a specific number as Ford have done with their GT's ........

Home alone !! Was a great opportunity to crank up the volume and finally watch 'Drive" with Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan .. Wow .........there isnt alot said in this movie, and I am sure , its the type of movie , even after watching several times , you would still be glued to the lounge seat, and have no idea what will play out next ??.. A movie where very little is said , but a hell of alot is happending and expected !!! A++++++++++. If you have n't areadly seen it, grap hold of a copy ...Great Watch

What ever the finished product looks like, it's pleasing to hear that the "Falcon" may continue for little while longer - that's good!!!

For my birthday , my daughter and son purchased for me 7 laps as a driver of Sandown Park... It was a wet morning , and to be honest ,I was hoping when I called in , I had the recorded message confirmed that the day had been cancelled due to wet weather - but it wasn't , so I fronted with the family, smiling , but I must admit a little nervous as I did n't want to make a d _ _ k of myself. Sat through the driver briefing , and if you weren't a little nervous before heading out , you were now!!!!! . Got the jump suit on, helmet, and choose to drive the manual Ford !!! What Else ... Got in the car, BF XR8, with slicks and front rotors with calipers at both 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock ???? Never seen that before !!! First lap, foot on the brake and stopped what felt like a mile from the brake maker , and the driver sitting next to me assuring me , not to worry, it was wet, and understood it would take a lap to understand the car... Next lap, driver sitting next to me told me to brake later and really accelerate harder out of the exit to the exit cones... Exit cones sat on the painted curbs , and I didn't feel to comfortable with the slicks on the painted curbs!!! . Next lap and each proceeding lap , I had the driver sitting next to me, asking, begging me to brake harder!!!! Hahahah I was now overtaking everything on the track and was one with the car - then came the end of lap 7 and the driver asked that I now make my exit. You could have chiesled my fingers off the wheel , I didn't want to stop!!! It was so much fun - I have done a few days at Oran Park and Phillip Island in different cars , but I never had so much fun as today, trying to get a big heavy V8 around - especially moving the car down the hill on and off brakes , through fast turns in the wet... Would recommend it for anyone - interested in trying a V8 around a circuit. I have no idea what it would cost you to put your own car around the track , tyres, rotors , pads and admission - but this V8 experience allows you to jump in , test the water, and then drive it like you stole it - Wahooooooo!!

Dumb ass can say all he likes about the GT (interestly he is driving the GT whilst he tells us all that the GTS talks to him better- suggest if that was so, shouldnt he have been in the GTS whilst making those claims?). The GTS is a fine car, , but the this GT mine , and I not going to be jumping ship any time soon !! GT maybe behind in kw and torque , but just look at the two through the twisty bits along the GOR and I still say with the note from the exhaust and especially the supercharger I would rather be in the GT .. The again what else would I say !!!

Following on from above , Years ago , everyone and anyone, was playing with the set up of their cars, most via a group of friends .. Today , it appears most mod's are much more professional and require the skills and knowledge of didicated tuning houses (real $ are involved).. Apart of the question of when to and warranty and resale issues , I was interested to learn from others , whether, there is also , possible a unwritten , unspoken thought that says you shouldn't mod a ? car .. Interesting , its clear that , many have either mod or have clearly for many reason choosen not to , but I haven't got any sense as whether we shouldnt mod a ?. That is ..........years ago , any car was fair game , we played with Mazda RX 2 with 12B motors right through to Monaros , Torana's, and GT's and so many others .. There were auto houses retailing their wares all over the states ... Then , a change came about , cheaper imports , cost of fuel , faster rice burns direct out Japan with no mod's required , etc . Mod' stopped(decreased) , and the value of original kept cars increased .. With FPV withdrawal and expected withdrawal of HSV anytime soon - is their any merit is keeping the GT's and F6 models original , hoping/wishing that in time , at time of sale, they would demand more - rather than less if they had been mod?.Will a original FPV - attract a larger pool of interested buyers ? . Maybe either way - it doesnt matter ? Look forward to your thoughts .

It's sad that you have to consider driving on a another wheel set , so your pride and joy set dont get scrubbed whilst trying to tip toe out of underground car parks . Those under ground car parks love low profile wheels . To make matters worst , if you get a quote to get them fixed, you might as well buy a new wheel .

Is that real ??? Wow - I think hahahah . If it is real , was it a chrome wrap or chrome paint ??? Wow again !!!

Are they going to have the seat rebuild or replaced ? .Has Ford stated that the seats (drivers) are softer? . I wouldnt of expected the seats to soften after months of use. Years maybe , but not months. I know they can suffer if the driver is on heavy side, but still, I wouldnt expect that they soften after months... Daily driver or not... It will interesting to hear from other GT and RSpec owners - see what their findings have been thus far.

Sometime ago I drove the GT-P and GT , and given the short drive, apart from the wings on the GT-P seats , I could n't see any difference in the position and feel of the the seats... It would be interesting to do a back to back test to see whether there is a difference.. So far , my seat feels good!!!

Was in the states recently , and these and other very large monster trucks occupy the highways. If it's not the sight of them in your rear vision mirror , it will be the full noise of the off road tyres that will have you weaving the traffic ahead of you to get as far away as possible . If you think they are intimidating on the highway, wait ,until one pulls up next to you in the supermarket lot... I saw the strangest think, a mother of two , with her shopping trying to load the shopping , kids and then herself in a monster truck ..

Ford should take a leaf out of PlayRZ play book - this build from the introduction to 'how to intercooler' , then brakes , and now wheel set. It's clear PlayRZ has a clear view of what it is he is wanting to achieve, and then sets out to do exactly that - and in doing so , fulfills his needs and desire , but as importantly paves the wave for others to follow. There are many , many cars that are deserved of a WOW , WAHOO , PERFECTION , and many other , but take another look at the pictures posted and you you're are pressed to find the right word , it's that good. If you saw it driving pass, before you utter a symbol , it would be gone . For me, thus far , it still remains the "posted car" on FordXR6Turbo...
