  1. I am loving the new AMG A45, 4.6 0-100 and 12.6 @112.5mph down the quarter with AWD and getting 6.9L/100km, apart from the 80k premium not a bad buy. Rumours are there is a Black Edition to be released of the A45
  2. Try stock 348.7rwkw http://www.hsvforum.com.au/showthread.php?12218-Active-s-GenF-GTS/page3
  3. Sound like an engine mount, usually the drivers side.
  4. A hot dog will mostly reduce the drone and not the exhaust loudness...is that correct? What about a hooker aero muffler, with a compromise with lower noise level, reduced drone? Like this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HOOKER-AERO-MUFFLER-3-OFFSET-IN-OFFSET-OUT-21530HKR-/200608418936?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2eb5318c78
  5. I removed the rear muffler on my G6ET on the weekend, sounded great on the drive home, over the past few day with the nice weather and window done, the noise (loudness) is starting to become almost offensive. I love the idle, in your face noise at WOT and crackle on overrun, but, the drone from 2300-3500 is terrible. I am thinking of going back and getting a resonator put in or a hi-flow smaller muffler. Will that help with the droning and quieten it down a bit? What have people done to quieten down their exhaust? What the difference between a hot dog and a resonator?
  6. Got my rear muffler chopped and replaced with straight pipes.....very subtle on idle but at WOT from 3000rpms very nice. Had the stock tip put back on for the stealth look.
  7. Richmond Panels - 500 swan street Richmond Barnet Motor Body Repairs - 456 Macaulay Rd Kensington. Both I highly recommend and great blokes as well.
  8. Herrod Piping Kit group buy would be nice
  9. Be careful of the cheaper Hertz speakers on ebay, they are knockoffs, got caught last year. The refunded my money and let me keep the speakers!
  10. I have been quoted $157 fitted from Jax in Glenhuntly (Melb) 245/35/19
  11. They feel just as heavy - stock vs Whiteline adjustable front sway bar
  12. @ nick d, I was impressed compared to the cheat rubbish that were on them, many people report you have to get a few k's on them to get rid of the moulding release material, before they reach their full potential @ -SteveR- they are Nitto Invo's
  13. Got some Nitto 255/35/19s fitted on the rear, been a bit wet in Melb, heaps better than the cheap sh*t that was on my car,
  14. Winton sounds good
  15. No longer getting exhaust fitted. @ AdamIan69 wanted a 3.5 to match mods later on, the 3.5 sounded better than twin 2.5 IMO
  16. Just spoke to Xforce. FG Turbo cat back systems (that connect to a standard cat) only come in twin 2.5" and single 3" A 3.5 and 4" can be fitted BUT must be altered to fit correctly to the std cat.
  17. Can anyone confirm that a 3.5" cat back is a direct replacement for a stock system and matches up with the stock cat.
  18. PS4 for me. Mostly brand/product loyalty. I have never played a xbox before
  19. Hopefully the F-Series ecoboost truck come over, they have been selling well in the states
  20. A few people have done the conversion, the light itself is a direct replacement, maybe with a little overhang on the front 1/4 panel. Some electrical wiring needs to be done to work properly. Apart from looks? and a more direct beam of light IMO there are few advantages, better off with some aftermarket light globes.
  21. How would you compare the proxes 4 to the T1 Sport, in grip (wet & dry) and tread wear?
  22. I am running the Herrod CAI, very happy with, easy to install, great induction noise. Bang for buck cant go past the FG XR8 airbox and snorkel.

Check you car for any error codes
  24. I got sick of using $15 blade replacements as they only lasted 4 months if that, and I wanted to get rid of the metal supports for the blade, probably why the blades weren't lasting that long. Well I found a solution....If anybody is about to change their wiper blades with winter coming up. I highly recommend the Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades http://www.bosch.com.au/content/language1/html/5534.htm. I paid $65 incl postage on ebay, might be able to find cheaper. Have other people used these?
