  1. It’s the same as every EBC these days… I’ve never used the GFB one but it suggests the same characteristics… That’s why the pinnacle of EBC’s ( Turbosmart EB2 ) offers RPM input fir this reason, if a vac line could do it all then they would
  2. The problem is you then need a RPM generator device to work in with aftermarket EBC or they do exactly the same thing as a Boost T will…. MSD do a Tach driver device that you wire in, connect to the EBC then you’ll have controllable boost targets “IF” the wastegate/Port/Flap are set up correctly also !
  3. Much better, Jamie is brilliant at tuning turbo falcons 👌
  4. Interference fit, they ain't going anywhere, it’s like having wheel nuts with no taper fit, they clean shear off as they rely on pressure and a Centre Boar to take the actual load off the wheel hence why wheel spacers are commonly a No No lol 😂 Dowel pins take shoulder pressure, bolts hold it back and support that process
  5. Anything over 600kw needs Dowel pins as a pretty standard rule due to that shear torque being generated Atomic sell the full Jig and dowels for like $150 but what the fark is with your flex plate and the massive amount of material you’ve ground off it from the rim ? That things balanced within a % new and yours is now way unbalanced which is amplifying everything on that mating point. Despite requiring a full spot faced flat surface on both the crank shaft and back of the flex plate any imperfections is seriously reducing the capacity big time. I’m not going to preach to the choir but how many times do you want to re visit that job…. I’d assume not again…. Do it once, do it correctly bro. Clean the threads, use the right amount of loctie, torque to spec, re check after 30min and ARP bolts every time as they’re without any doubt the best for what they are Here’s one I did on a Built engine last month YellaTerra flex plate with Atomic Dowel kit as the intensions are plus 600rwkw
  6. Are they the ones With the hex head insert to make sure you seat them out before anything else ?
  7. Just go E85 and call it a day ….
  8. Great start to a Thread mate all looking very profesh ….. Parts table giving south movement
  9. That’s chump change we regularly fit 275 M/T’s on BA XR6 17X8’s 265’s on 19’s is a doddle the new thing in stick bang for buck tyres are these “Raiden” Hero’s ! they stick like chit to a blanket and are like sub $300 ea
  10. Remove the aluminium engine wing bracket the mount bolts too !! x4 13mm head bolts
  11. No it doesn’t work when car is running
  12. My pleasure mate, hope you enjoy it as I know you’ll love playing with the buttons bare minimum haha
  13. Ha some tuners have a circle jerk over the phone at nights and last night I just happened to be on the line with Rob having a 5 minute chin wag that blows out to an hour lol 😂 I mentioned some things… he mentioned some back… I said do things to Alex’s car … he laughed and agreed and that’s where we left it. If he does it he will 200% let you know so don’t stress it’s everything good nothing bad and yeh well done Mekhanicking mate
  14. Yes that’s the final number and a good result …. There might be a surprise for you when you pick it up though
  15. I know something you don’t know
  16. Done, pictures have gone way out of aspect though
  17. Keif forum is a dick again txt box full of post, press submit, nothing posts in my thread, what do you want me to do now to help you fix this chit heap ?
  18. Happy to help out new members whenever I can
  19. Chris has come leaps and bounds in the past 6 months, and has a few decent built ZF’s out there now. All have been coupled up with my Tune or he doesn’t warrant them which is fair. Yeh he’s not done massive spec builds but for 90% of punters he’s stuff will be well suited and over time will only get better Correct, I only rate interstate builds with the highest regard
  20. Yeh mate it happens, Chris is on the level with ZF’s and if it’s anything he can’t manage he will get me to sort it out so you’ll be fine
  21. All the TS’s are serviceable… even the non serviceable ones, it’s just HS can’t do them for some weird reason. Fitted the MW Antitramp kit many times and be mindful that they really stiffen up the rear and can make the utes very “notchy” to drive and heavily amplify the Utes common creaking and groaning on articulation. IF I were you just get a 1350 yoke and uni fitted to the currently installed HS shaft assuming is has the slip joint fitted ?
  22. Have a 1350 uni yoke arrangement fitted to your HS tailshaft, they can do everything on site at HS and should of been optioned that way for your application That said Albins sell the 1400HP CV that TDSS fit to their Carbon fibre tailshafts … have this merged fitted to your HS shaft it’s actually a bit odd as HS actually don’t list a HD CV option on any of their shafts… are you sure you didn’t actually buy just an overhauled standard shaft from HS ? The reason is HS option for a slip joint on their HD shafts to suit the “plunge” retract with 1350 set ups, This is what the CV does on the solid factory arrangement… sounds like it’s a slip joint shaft with a CV hence pulling out ??
  23. My daughter turned 18 and we bought her what she wanted, we’ll closest to what she wanted as that was the car like dad’s one apparently lol (Which was my VF R8 Clubsport) but on P’s these days you can’t drive V8’s and turbo’s so it was the next best thing I suppose 2017 VF SV6 Black edition, Pretty decent bus for an 18 year old but a fairly safe one too. Should meet the criteria for “Cool” stuff bought
