  1. We only use shep as domestic currency, but when making international purchases for dodgy krautwagons we run into trouble with the schnitzel sniffers eating our currency, so use funny plastic notes for them instead.
  2. Seem to recall a group buy of those a year or two back?
  3. regards the shift light rpm signal , try this thread - worked for me.
  4. To clarify, 22 billion NZ rubles, around 21 billion aussie paseos and change
  5. I see VW got a 22 BILLON dollar fine for their sneaky software #holysh*twe'rebroke
  6. hawlass replied to G6ETNZ's topic in General Tech
Ralph called it in the first reply, no surprises there! Falcon whisperer lives on..
  7. ball joints rooted?
  8. bloody legend mate! Sorry to hear of the death within the business, that's my biggest fear as a business owner. Getting staff through the day and home to their family safe is a big responsibility.
  9. "Acquire another BF side airbag seat mate. You can't substitute the yellow airbag connector with a normal connector as it has a special earthing bar to tells the RCM if there is an issue with the connector. From Memory the wiring colours are the same. I'll dig out both diagrams when I get home. " Thanks a lot for the help Ralph, I had a look at the plug, and it looks like the metal internal tab bridges across the red and black wires- seems like that would just be a dead short so clearly there is something I dont understand here! The male that plugs into this connector has no metal to contact this so I assume it pushs this bridging tab down which connects something within the plug? Even if I were to remove the plugs from my old seats, I would still need to connect it to the old wiring, so do I crimp and heatshrink the wires together ?, as I understand soldering will alter resistance within the wiring and upset the RCM. I cant find a supplier of these plugs or I would just buy new and assemble on my old wires, Do you know of where these might be available? I had thought of using these till your revelation regarding the earthing strip. http://www.narva.com.au/products/browse/waterproof-connectors-2 My other thought was ,is this plug attached to a short loom that plugs into the side airbag itself , if so perhaps these are available from Ford parts, if I could find a part number.
  10. " , I thought some people had to take apart the seats and swap parts over to make em work properly? " - not what I want to hear! Im hoping to keep the original seats unmolested plug wise , the interior is tidy and may help someone who has a knocked around one. Wont help anyone with a ba of course cause Ford changed plugs! Thinking I need to find a wrecked bf with side airbags ( did all bf's get side airbags or only mk2?) to cut the plugs off or hard wire them .
  11. Whats pissing me off is realising some dumb fkr chopped the plugs on the gtp seats I bought ( airbag and pretensioner), turns out they are BA and im putting them into my bf2. Ford in their infinite wisdom decided to change one of the plugs (pretensioner) as well so it looks like my options are chop the plugs off the old seats and solder to the gtp seats, or just bypass the plugs and solder permanantly. Whats the opinion of those in the know?, just want to be sure, safety equipment and all. This is my cars plugs in good order v the gtps cut mess This is the underside of my old bf2 seats, so I can follow wires by colour and solder, as long as ford didnt change the order of the colours, black became red etc. A real pita I didnt need, so whats your thoughts ?
  12. A really nice guy I bought them from, has a bionic blue T, showed him a couple of things ( boost solenoid maintenance etc) and pointed him to the forum so he may be along shortly..
  13. Yep, pretty damn happy, been keeping an eye out for a full interior at a decent price for a while. Best bit is the Mrs is super excited with it too, not often I get to spend without 'the look'
  14. Lighting makes the black look a bit grey, also has a slight silver check in there. the bolster/padding by the drivers right leg is a bit compressed from the last user sliding in and out, normal wear I think. I will take a few pics once I install tomorrow, really looking forward to having a bit more lateral support through the twistys.
  15. Just picked up a full GTP black leather interior for a grand. Red stitching , not sure how long I will be able to handle the 'GTP' embroidered on the seats cos in a T , damn ocd tendancys.
  16. Cos fancy pancy brush is a tool, and we all know more tools = more manhood. "I wish I didn't have so many tools" said no man EVER FACT!
  17. Gave the step fathers car a vac and clean last weekend, he approached me today and asked "did you do something to the back window?, its turned black - I cant see out of it" Thinking... Thinking... Thinking... UREKA! Turns out I pushed the rear veiw mirror dip/tint thingo forward and as a 83y.o. he doesnt turn around, just uses mirrors and decided the tinted mirror=black back window. "I didn't know it did that" he said. Also didn't know he had a tilt steering column. Many quiet lols internally, ( fearing I will be that same silly old karnt in years to come)
  18. From 5 mins on , one loud mofo in person I guess. [youtube]
  19. As a painter it sucks nuts if the kitchen/ vanitys etc go in early. Almost impossible to reach over the top of a corner pantry and cut in the walls to the ceiling. Way more masking if your spraying too.
  20. Cheers Rab, it really is great news for us, we've lived with the spectre of this sh*t over our heads for too long. My awesome lady hasnt been able ( physically destroyed by fatigue ) to work for the last 6 years since the last tumour opp and is back at work 2 days now - such a boost to her self confidence. It helped me realise there is no plan to a good life, its just what you make of it. While we may not retire zillionares , with luck we will BOTH live long enough to retire and relax a little.
  21. A six pack and a few bottles of wine in with the mrs watching a 80's compilation on youtube streaming through the new home theatre - epic! wmmfgt, got the second all clear in a two years for my wife's brain tumours, two removed over 16 years, looks like we are in the clear AT LAST!!! F*ck right off tumours!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I liked the super/hyper car race, focus smoking a bugatti made for lols. That focus RS RX at the end looks kinda cool too.
  23. Just for the haters
  24. Stripes, your onto it with the sensitive powder/liquid (liquid ftw) try using a bit less than the recommended dose and a extra rinse if you can. Just changed from a top to a front loader and the options to add extra rinses has been a real bonus for my eczema . As buff said, steroid creams suck, and dont really work anyway, just a bandaid to make you feel better about a sh*tty situation. Stop using them and your back to square one again, need to sort whats causing it. Sorbitol cream with 10% glycerin helps dry skin a bit.
