I've heard a similar story here in NZ. VE sedan reversing out of their driveway-CLUNK BANG WHIZZ- gearbox on the ground.only 2 weeks old! Lucky it didn't happen on kickdown overtaking at 100+. Could had killed a family or two. You would think the monkeys on the assembly line could get tightening a bolt right.

The squeeling is usually on light brake applications,and is probably coming from the rear brakes.My brake guy has had success eliminating this by using a slightly lower temp/quality pad which warms faster and wont squeel due to being 'cold'. Had my rear pads face sanded when I replaced the fronts with ferodo ds 2000 pads-awesome pad!!Hope this helps?

over here in NZ a 15 year old can drive anything away from the testing centre-ferrari,lambo,astin-ANYTHING! , but on a motorcycle their not allowed bigger than a 250!!? bloody crazy, wish our polys had the common sense and guts to do the same as you guys and limit it.
