First few days driving you will accidentally activate it ALOT, but you learn pretty quickly not to rest your foot on the clutch and to lift heavily off the throttle for normal spirited shifting.I have a no lift to shift system (NLTS) on my Evo as well and you have to have your foot on the firewall for that to activate the NLTS. That is a lot more forgiving than my XR. 1

Their site had no telephone number, so I emailed them yesterday. No reply..... I also Private Messaged them on Facebook yesterday, requesting contact information. PM seen at 10.30am, no reply. I have just posted on their Facebook page.l and I'm not holding my breath. The obviously don't need my money.... So, I'll contact PPG tomorrow and check out their gear....

I'll have to read up on it some more and see if it has facility to run, or comes with microswitchesfor telling the Haltech what gear I'm in. And a pressure sensing gear knob to suit. Anything along tose lines would be awesome. I have another idea, that up the ante with this setup. But, I have to investigate it further. ..

I looked into face plating a while ago and a few other options I can't think of right now and none of it was worth the gain I was going to get. Fit a good shifter and be done. I haven't missed a gear in a long time since I hard mounted my shifter. Noisy as fck though.

Ive done the same.A lot more harmonics are introduced into the cabin, but they quality of shift has improved outta sight.Srsly wrap the portion of the stick thats under the boot in dyna mat. Makes a massive difference to the resonance. I have some off cuts I could send you if you don't want to rush about and buy a pack. 2
