We can supply replacement thermostats if required.

I'm sorry you were not happy with my staff members answers but I have told my staff not to disclose our suppliers etc, no matter how small the part is

Fair enough - They could've said that over the phone though :) I'm happy to order a replacement part if you can post it to Adelaide, as long as it's the same one on the original invoice from quite a few years ago now

The tridon high flow is actually still 91'c thermostat.

Taken from Tridon website,

"Tridons range of high flow thermostats are designed to improve cooling system performance. The high flow thermostat has a larger valve allowing approximately 30% more coolant flow, eliminating the need to use a cooler temperature thermostat."

It's also listed as a 91'c in the details on the item.

Is there an issue with running a cooler thermostat? ie engine doesn't get to operating temp?

I bought the project I'm working on at the moment and it has one installed because it was from Townsville.

I live in Sydney West, should I throw a stock one back in or not worry?

Pretty sure there is a high flow 82deg (180F Tridon part no.) as well.

They keep the car cooler in traffic (especially when the thermo fans are tuned to cut in earlier), but at circuit day I've found they only delay the car getting up to temp on the first warm up session only. Once the coolant is over 95 which it usually is for me, it makes little difference as the thermostat will be open regardless of temp rating.

Can't hurt putting a new one in though.

They have been known to fail and are a cheap part to replace, but crucial for

I may be mistaken mate.

It's been a stressful week :)

Do these fit FG?
