June 17, 201412 yr #11 Pretty open question there mate. WelcomeYou planning to carry people or concrete around in this thing? If you want to carry bags of concrete you'll want the uteMy Sedan can carry bags of concrete. Can your Ute carry 4 people (legally) +1 for sedans.
June 17, 201412 yr #12 Author When you say 'I want a lot' what exactly are you talking about? This is an awesome site and if your after a few tips and friendly advice, your in the right place. But bear in mind that most of us here are performance orientated and prefer a clean car with a dick load of powerWhen you say you 'want a lot' in a n/a falcon it leads me to believe that your after the typical 'p plate' mods such as chopped springs on stockies, black tail lights, painted interior, neons and wet fart exhausts. If that's the case, I suggest you maybe look at another site.Welcome nonetheless! Not at all, By "A Lot" I mean I want a car that is good in all aspects - as you say "dick loads of power" but I realise that without a turbo or major engine upgrades, only a bit of that can be achieved. But I'm also not like all those other typical "P-Platers"! I don't want a Nissan 200sx or a Subaru rx, I don't want a slammed car, chrome wheels (probably the last thing on my list), or a Aeroplane wing that could double as a dinner table (spoiler), and I definitely do not want a wet fart exhaust that will piss of my neighbours each day as I drive down the street. That's why I want an xr6, I want a clean, good looking car that is well known to Australians, I want good clean wheels that don't make you look like a tosser, and for an exhaust I want a deep burble that gives a bit when accelerating but otherwise just gives the performance a bit of a boost. So no I don't want a typical P-plater car and I'm glad about that. And Snake thanks for the info, gives a good aspect from a sedan point of view and will definitely take that into consideration.Oh and one more thing Phoon! Neon lights should stay in nightclubs and movies!
June 17, 201412 yr #13 Good man! Sounds like your head is in the right place. The car scene has too many f*ckwits as of late. Keep us posted on your progress mate
June 17, 201412 yr #14 Actually, as stated above buy the ute for parties & such.ute + mattress = f*ck truck
June 19, 201412 yr #15 I recently bought a ute. Glad I did. Out of all the sedans I've had I think I had people in the back like 10 times in 10 years. However I've always thrown gear in the back seat. Not to mention having a ute is just tough. Must admit though, the bum end bounces more than a sedan would and traction is non existant (speaking of which my semi's are in the country now, yay)As far as the ute handling worse than the sedan - Who is buying a Falcon for handling lol.
June 19, 201412 yr #16 200rwkw is possible on an N/A. Wish my dirty old 5L had that when I was 17. These cars have changed our perspective of power dramatically.
June 20, 201412 yr #17 Yeah agree. NA XR6 have enough grunt for a P plater. Far mor then most V8,s had stock in my early days.
