January 5, 201412 yr #7 Where are you located mate?If I remember rightly..Remove intake to turbo and piping from compressor, cover them up suitablyremove heat shielding, there are some sh*tty bolts to get to from underneath... unless you have a hoist ( suggest spraying turbo manifold mount bolts with CRC or WD40/penetrene as soon as you expose them after removing heat shield)Unbolt dump pipe at the turbo flange (that's where I dropped it)remove boost actuator hose from actuatorremove coolant and oil feeds to turbo ( suggest coolant change at this point and oil change)remove coolant drain and oil drain from turbo ( I took the oil drain off at the block... was just easier I thought)crack turbo mount flange boltsremove all mount bolts in turbo and lift out....something like that. January 5, 201412 yr #9 Agree.I just hit mine with a big hammer. It normally only takes 2 hits but that can vary with the poundage of the hammer and amount of beers consumed
January 5, 201412 yr #10 I just drive mine around. Fords awesome factory hardware and assembly methods gaurantee the turbo will fall off at some stage, you just gotta wait.
