Never had any say Panda I <3 Floods Legacy Donating Member 11,198 Member For: 15y 1m 20d Gender: Male Location: South West QLD Posted 21/05/14 05:44 AM Posted 21/05/14 05:44 AM Oddly enough even though Bonjaz is paying 50k in tax (You work in a power station don't ya mate?) when I read how much tax people pay it pisses me off because of all the times I think of people earning substantially less than Bonjaz who complain to me about a road or something and then back the statement up with something like 'I pay good money in tax why isn't every road perfect'...A pretty bare figure is $1.2m.. That's how much it costs to repair or 'correct' 1km of rural highway.. You could probably multiply that by 5 or 10 for the same length if you want to play on a motorway..I've seriously seen minor intersection improvements (Stop sign, Linemarking, bit of widening of the road) cost more than most of the muppets in this country will pay in tax in their lifetime.And what really pisses me off!Just landed another massive project.. Why can't the quiet times be longer than the busy times?
