Never had any say Panda I <3 Floods Legacy Donating Member 11,198 Member For: 15y 1m 15d Gender: Male Location: South West QLD Posted 27/10/13 11:51 AM Posted 27/10/13 11:51 AM Yeah.. We got flooded pretty bad a couple years ago (not sure if WA has gotten that on the news yet).. But anyway apparently the lovely fresh stuff that kept falling from the sky made most of our water sources undrinkable. So we hooked a few Brita filters up to the sewerage plants and diverted them into the water mains.. On a serious note though dude.. If it's actually bacteria clogging your lines, I had a mate who mixed a bit of dettol in his washer water in an attempt to stop his getting some weird build up, he settled for new pump and lines in the end.. Still have no idea what caused it.. Even the dealership was confuzzled (warranty claim and all that).

I removed the tank one day and cleaned it with bleach. Problem solved. I just cant be arsed pulling the bumper off to do it.

Stops scale build up in the pump and lines. Happened on my ba to use rain water now and no problems.
