all those ford falcon parts coming out of china   ... I know what you mean, though... turbo's and more turbo's

Cranks, pistons, valves, gaskets, brakes, suspension, interior pieces, fuel pumps etc etc...

Either way - my parts still haven't shipped. Will have been two weeks on Saturday. I messaged them earlier in the week and they said they expected them to ship Wednesday but hasn't happened yet.

car parts ordering always seems to be a long wait time sort of thing...

By contrast the front crank seal, balancer, balancer tool and PCV valve I ordered on the weekend from other suppliers have all arrived.

More ammo for the parts cannon.

Asked for a refund from Sparesbox and to their credit they processed it within an hour and a half. So no complaints from that perspective.

Have ordered from TI Performance who are always superfast (not sure why I didn't do that the first time as I really like them - probably because I was laying under the car trying to undo inlet manifold bolts with a shattered finger)

I actually haven't had an issue with any of the orders I've made from spares box.

 

if I need something same day I usually just use veal's, they either have it in stock or get it in the same day. they get 4 delivers a day from Perth, so its convenient for me. Not even a trade customer, but they will usually give you trade price, or even match an online price if they can.

 

I felt out of place driving around oz recently, trying to source some parts I knew I used to be able to get same day, having to use the generic supercheap type stores... ring around to find someone actually stocking the things I needed was slightly panful. 

 

as for what ive done to the car today, sadly nothing. I have used any some such free time this week to start a clean out of the shed. few trips to the dump, listing parts ill never use on the old marketplace. trying to find lost tools. just the usually scruage to make it manageable again.
