  1. My first exhaust revision on my turbo terry was a decat and mid muffler remove, so it was just 3inch with the rear muffler. I hated it, only time it was acceptable was on load. annoyed me for cruse especially since being a family car. I fitted a fg turbo manifold and a 4inch xforce dump. I had to cut and reweld the bottom piece of the dump, I feel as it was touching something or pointing the wrong way I wanted. I cant remember now it was many years ago. But it goes into a 5inch cat, then 3.5inch pipe to a hot dog and still the standard 3inch rear as ive been to lazy to make one. but its on my list, but in current form it sounds good on noise and pretty close to stock on cruse.
  2. I dont think you can call it Na anymore. Its got more fruit than a turbo terry since you've been hard at work
  3. I had to do mine recently. all the bottom ones were basically hand tight. I think its been about 40, 000 since I installed it. I had normal studs and norlock washers. but I dont think there verry good when the glue melts? anyway might have to buy something for it if it loosens again
  4. Yeah I found I took couple hundred rpm outa the high 1st points n a hundred or so out of 2nd. But then I set my limiter to just fuel cut 6500, and let it shift how it shifts now. Dont have patience to go through all the shift maps.
  5. I convinced a mate to buy a na 6 speed teritory on the weekend, now ive convinced him to turbo it. Its more fun doing conversions when other people are paying. hahaha.
  6. I only had mine in about 2 weeks after getting pcmtec. realizing in data logs the air temp goes from ambient to over 100 in a 1-2-3rd gear pull to freeway speeds is just crazy.
  7. I actually haven't had an issue with any of the orders I've made from spares box. if I need something same day I usually just use veal's, they either have it in stock or get it in the same day. they get 4 delivers a day from Perth, so its convenient for me. Not even a trade customer, but they will usually give you trade price, or even match an online price if they can. I felt out of place driving around oz recently, trying to source some parts I knew I used to be able to get same day, having to use the generic supercheap type stores... ring around to find someone actually stocking the things I needed was slightly panful. as for what ive done to the car today, sadly nothing. I have used any some such free time this week to start a clean out of the shed. few trips to the dump, listing parts ill never use on the old marketplace. trying to find lost tools. just the usually scruage to make it manageable again.
  8. since this is pretty much the first result on google when you google this. I've collated the two sets of data from the falcon manuals, as I was looking for facts regarding this swap. as you can see they have the same lift, but both bf cams are open slightly longer, exhaust has a larger difference than intake. .

  10. is it worth the cost? everything I learnt about ZF's I learnt from you hahahaha
  11. + this is good advice, I allways Loctite my spark plugs.
  12. Id love to do the course. Just to learn. But its a big cost, since I get nothing financial from this ill never see a return. If your doing paid tunes it might be a good tax writeoff/learning experience. I think u can buy the course material without going?
  13. if I understand anything from your posts. its will broken and fixed 2 maybe 3 more times before the 24th.
  14. is that just cut expanded and slipped around the other gate pipe? I put a flexy thing in mine just to make it easier to get on the gate.
  15. that's just the external gate pipe. exhaust is a full exhaust with one muffler. it does occasionally pop out there but I think the gate has to be closed. side note this will also melt your super-china wastegate seal. I currently run the gate with no seal, 4.5sping, no boost reference and it runs 7psi boost "mechanically" good enough for the bush.

  17. my 31 with the 98/water meth shoots great big blue flames on meth. verry enjoyable.
  18. I measured both my diffs and they are the same. 1500 Both LSD Different length axels. Yeah I called some local driveline places n they said ford genuine. The ebay shop said they have the one I need yes. I was hoping to buy sh axels cheap. But looks like ill be buying new. Just kinda annoying there different lengths. Be nice to have spares
  19. I smashed an axel in my b series ute. So now im having fun finding a replacement. I have what I thought was just a 373 ba turbo manual diff. My spare diff from a xr8 ba lsd has different length axels. I just had a guy measure his on marketplace. Bf turbo auto, axels measured same as my spare. From the metal collar before bearing, they are 73 cm and 67cm. One im trying to find is 70cm for that same measurement.
  20. I'm just going to bump this old thread here. My turbo territory with its stock top mount intercooler would heat soak easily, when accelerating from a standstill it would go from ambientish to around 85 deg c by the time you at 110kph / end of third. after installing a 400x600x76 core front mount the intake temps would basically match ambient temp . the same 0-110 test and it would barely raise 5 degrees c. turbo r31 barra with no intercooler, temp when no boost is anywhere from 40 to 55 deg c, as soon as the boost hits + 800 ish-rpm it will be over 85 deg c. this has water meth injection and the current setup sees consistent low 60deg c when turned on and car on boost. a falcon will usually start to pull timing after 100 deg F / 38 deg c, then ramp this up after 150deg f / 65degc. so ideally you want your charge temp to be below 38deg c to maintain power levels.
  21. Hey, I did this, but lost speedo. Also after roughly 1 min the car went into a limp mode with a lower limiter. Abs is not overly helpfull on dirt tracks with rally tire's.
