Morning Keith.... 

corona rant time- my moronic mother *whos legitimately an actual horrible human anyway* is living with us because we’re building her a house and she volunteers to get her new start payments. Her job is retail based and she’s dealing with used goods all day and we had a sit down and talk about the risk factors of her being at work at this time *shes got significant pre existing conditions* as well as how significant it would be to me if I got sick. 
we told her we would financially support her to stay home if necessary to keep us all safe. 
I’m working partly from home and have an isolated office so my work risk is low at this point and j@ is low risk also. 

this morning with no prior warning she ups and decides she don’t wanna do that no more and goes to work (leaving me babysitterless as we cancelled child care to negate risk also)... just coz she doesn’t wanna have to stay home.

 

ya can’t help people who won’t help themselves... and apparently you can’t make your own mother care either. 

 

In other news I watched my grandfather slowly pass away on Wednesday night. He was 91, had a good life and as sad as I feel there was something very special about being there to say goodbye and tell each other we loved each other. 
 

so yeah 2020... still winning 🤣

and yes, it seems it's hard to tell the older at-risk generations that they should take personal care in these circumstances... stubborn old people haha

A friend said to me the other day.... it won’t be us who breaks the isolation if required it will be the baby boomers or the elderly coz they’re stubborn as chit LOLOL. 
 

I think it’s hard for some people to fathom... then there’s the other end of the scale that are doomsday prepping for an apocalypse with shelters made from toilet paper and rice.
