Mods To Power Comparison

Hi all,

I'm starting this thread so as people can put in their power mods done to their Ts so newbies like myself can guage what combos work best for them. I'm not interested in suspension, painted brake calipers etc! Just a list of mods done to make power. Please be detailed enough without writing an essay :)

Start with me...

Car: BA Mk2 XR6 Turbo

Trans: 6 speed manual

Power: 310rwkw

Boost: 13 trailing down to 12

Induction: F6 CAI, K&N Filter, Monza intercooler, stock piping

Turbo: Stock

Valve Springs: Stock

Exhaust: XForce 4" dump, 5" cat into twin 2.5" mufflers

Fuel system: Siemens injectors, stock fuel pump

Update. Car has been retuned and now has nizpro 4 inch exhaust and nizpro big cooler. Made just under 400rwkw on 98 at 18PSI. (stock turbo with turbine housing mods). Due the high compression pistons

415rwkw on ba motor. But e85 is your friend

Power: 275 rear-wheel kw

Boost: 12 pounds, tapering to 10 pounds

Induction: Wog cooler

Turbo: Stock

Valve Springs: Stock

Exhaust: stock minus rear mufflers

Fuel system: wallbro fuel pump, seimens injectors

Power adder: Custom edit

Best ET is 12.7 at 111mph, also got 12.8 at 116mph

Boost: 12 psi

Induction: PW stage 1 intercooler, F6 CAI and Plasmaman stage 1 pipe kit and UBP.

Turbo: Stock

Valve Springs: Stock

Exhaust: Stock

Fuel system: APS PHII injectors

Power adder: Custom edit.

Made 285kw on the last dyno tune but detuned to 263kw to take it easy on the stock valve springs.

Awaiting next round of mods to take it past 300kw

Power: 270-280 rear-wheel kw

Boost: 15PSI tappering back to 12PSI

Induction: Wog Cooler

Turbo: Stock

Valve Springs: Stock

Exhaust: Stock minus mid muffler.

Fuel system: Stock and need new one's

Power adder: Custom edit.

Boost: see above

Induction: all process west, CAI w/ pod, PW stg2 cooler, PW 3inch piping and PW plenum

Turbo: Ported wastegate, Stock flapper valve

Valve Springs: Stock

Exhaust: xforce 4" dump, 5"cat into twin 2"1/2, straight thru mufflers

Fuel system: siemens dekas, bosch 044 and swirl pot

Power adder: edit and blueboost tuned...

should get approx 420rwkw on 110ron oxygenated race fuel... will find out very soon :crybaby:

Exhaust: XForce 3" system

Fuel system: 42lb thingys

Good enough for a 12.8 @ 113 with a sh*t 2.3 sec 60.

Fuel system: siemens injectors, walbro fuel pump.

Power adder: edit and headsex tuned.

Turbo: waste gate mod and actuator (APS 3)

Valve Springs: APS 3

Exhaust: 3 in into hi flow cat then 3 1/2 into twin 2 1/2 system (APS)

Fuel system: bosh 044, drilled injectors (APS)

Power adder: edit by CV performance

Power: 331rwkw

Boost: 15psi

Induction: stock, typhoon CIA

Turbo: stock ,12.5psi actuator

Valve Springs: Crow Springs & retainers

Exhaust: X-Force 3.5" dump, 5" cat into twin 2.5

Fuel system: redrilled taxi injectors found em in the shed.... Walbro fuel pump

Power adder:Edit & Custom tuned by Con @ C&V

Exhaust: Full S/S X-Force 3.5" dump, 3.5" Metal cat into twin 2.5 with quad tips from Nizpro

Fuel system: Siemens 60lb Injectors

Power adder: Edit & Custom tuned by the team @ Nizpro
