  1. Happy Birthday seventytwo!

  2. Unfortunately work and family commitments do that to you.
  3. Hi Pat, Do you know if the BA/BF control arms are interchangable,
  4. Stock springs and yes the sway bar is 22mm, not sure if the bar had anything to do with it or there is not enough meat on the control arm at that point
  5. Looks like this is not uncommon. A nasty surprise waiting for me after a few months OS, droped the car car off the stands and take it for a drive to blow out the cobwebs, on turning back into the drive way I heard a rather loud bang from the rear end, put the car back on the jacks and find the sway bar linkage punch right through the lower control arm.
  6. Just have a read through the threads in 'similar topics' below and you should find the answers you are looking for.
  7. Perfect for brake ducts on the occasional track day.
  8. Its a bit more than just a stone tray, but how about grabbing another under tray cutting it up and have it plastic welded to the original
  9. I'm sure it was the stage one piping that got you over the line in the end. Good work buddy.
  10. Getting is easy, the hard bit is starting them and driving off.
  11. Zappo, your pic is a spork, splades have a serrated edge on one side so are a combination of all three fighting irons
  12. Pen me in for a tentative. Dropping the handbrake off at the Sydney airport Friday so a detour to Albion Park on the way back to the ACT sound like fun.
  13. Have that from both lights, not sure what causes it but they make it a pain to adjust as you have to aim the lights lower than you would normally have to.
  14. Looks about the right place for the aircon, but I would do the feel and sniff test to make sure its not a clear clutch fluid.
  15. Sounds about right, replace the sensor after the auto lights stopped working and that did not fix the problem, so more than likely it was the switch gear. Not worth fixing at the replacement price of the switch.
  16. I think Doc saw the Hogs breath Ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUCQHSAkVP4
  17. No Idea, no fault codes or shorts in the system.
  18. left for work this morning, turned onto the main road and the car went dead, lucky I was still in the left lane so I pull over to the side of the road, Tried to restart, nothing, no cranking, no dash lights, just the smart lock blinking on the dash. I had only broken down a few hundred meters from home, so a quick round trip home to grab a few tools, started checking dash fuses, nope all good, same with the blade fuses in the engine bay, tried a battery disconnect reset, still a flat line. 45 minutes and a 77 dollar flat bed ride later*, shes at the mechanics for an autopsy. Pinched the missus car and went to work, get back to the mechanics after work to find the car pointing in a different direction from where I left it, a good sign I hope. A quick chat to the mech and the culprit is the main engine fuse, a 140amp fuse that lives in the engine fuse box and requires the fuse box to be pulled apart to replaced. The electrics are fine no unusual loads the fuse just went pop. So I am now $180 bucks poorer all over an $8 fuse, I think I am going to pick up a spare from fraud, just in cause the car decides to have another stroke. Can say I was lucky though, if it happened last weekend while I was on my trip to Brisvagas and back I would have been royally screwed *mind you my mechanic is right next to where I live and 200m from where I rolled to a stop a
  19. Aren't this things wide enough already?
