  1. Ohh did you mean spring combo? I actually cant remember what I had in the old car, was king springs though and shortened shocks
  2. Haha yep that's me. I remember all you guys, spent soooo much time on here back in the day haha.. Yeah what can you do ey..
  3. Bought the springs second hand for $200 and got my mechanic to install them aswell as a service so not sure how much to fit them alone. Purple one was pretty basic. Still had the std exhaust minus a muffler
  4. Got it lowered and serviced today. King springs SSL front and SSSL rear. Love how it sits, but might be a bit too low for me. Getting old lol..
  5. Ohh I saw Evildaifu in a red F6 the other day.. still got a thing for red ey haha and a nice upgrade from the xr6 he use to have if I remember.. Borg Warner something.. but yeah its big
  6. Scares the crap out of me haha.. my BA only had 250rw then went to a VW amarok and now this thing
  7. Yeah got a ZF out of an F6 to replace it
  8. Hey, after a long time away I'm back in a Turbo Falcon, a 2010 G6ET. Searching online for some info this site kept coming up so I decided to share my purchase with you guys. I bought the car as is, with all the work done and I intend to add some personal touches. Ok so the the important stuff, mods, here goes... Borg Warner turbo Nizpro intercooler, 4" exhaust, over boost valve, 4" intake/relocated Valve springs 1000cc injectors Billet oil pump gears true track diff IMS twin diff bush/hat PW surge, twin pumps, fuel reg, hi flow in tank pump GJ tailshaft, billet CV PBR brakes, braided lines, pads, rotors etc.. More mods but that's basically it. Also had a Nizpro stage 2 ZF with billet input shaft, but that went bye bye. Made 480rwkw on e85. But now I had it detuned and it's now on 98 with a super super soft tune with the farts to keep this ZF alive. Tuned by APS and he said the turbo is barely spinning haha. Now makes 375rwkw on 98
  9. Someone said the thing to do is Superpro/nolathane the front and go std rear.. Keeps the front tight and the rear less clunky/harsh etc... But replacing the diff bush every X amount of kms adds up.. Any fix for the rear yet? Heard a lot of things like superpro the outer bushes and keep the diff bush std and it lasts longer etc..? But dunno, last time I did mine I went STD all 3..
  10. Does anyone know if Superpro sell a kit for the fords replacing pretty much everything either front or rear? Could just take said kit to mechanic or whoever and get them to do the lot, or it it a matter of tracking down every single bush individually? I for one would be much happier for a kit.
  11. What do you think they mean? I get a lot of mixed responses... Whoops, props should have multi quote, my bad :(
  12. Ok yeah I'm thinking you might be right regarding the caliper mounting bracket.. Just doesn't make sense how you could just fit a larger rotor on and it would work. I have a mate that has bought those Aftermarket caliper brackets for his VE and he's had them in for ages and they seem to work fine. Another guy said that there is a slight difference in the calipers BA/FG dunno if that's true or not? My brakes are fine just a bit squeely.. A guy is wrecking his FGT and was selling his front and rear brakes for $200 and I thought it would be a good upgrade, but found out the rears are the same and the fronts are just the bigger rotor, so not much gain once getting it swapped over.. Might look at it again when the brakes need to be done.. Thanks for your help mate..
  13. Another guy "Hey guys, Just thought id share my experience of fitting G6ET brakes to my BA. I was lucky enough to score the brakes of ebay for....$127.50 . That included Brand new rotors, pays, calipers and hoses. I bought them with mixed info as to whether they would actually fit up to my BA, but I thought it was well worth the gamble. For abit extra stopping power I bought a pair of Greenstuff pads and decided to paint them red while I was at it. Well after an afternoons work they are fitted up and everything works as it should"
  14. So the only difference is between BA turbo brakes (front) and FG turbo brakes (front) is the rotor size? BA rears and FG rears the same, really? That sucks then.. I read on a couple threads that guys have just put on bigger rotors (BF, FG) using std BA callipers and it works? "well after a few months of fart arsing around and investigating different options in terms of brake setup on the budget, I finally installed some upgraded brakes. Thanks to rjs for selling me his unused standard brakes of his FG T that came with bendix ultimates for the fronts. Went down to my local mechanic at the servo, been going to him for years, installed with just a little fiddling round. The calipers are exactly the same from BA to FG and bolt holes lined up. Disc size is larger 298 to 322. The calipers I got came with brake hoses but my mechanic said it was easier to use the old brake lines as the new calipers didnt have the right braket to mount. No dramas I thought. The only trick he said was the left hand caliper went onto the right and vice-a-versa. Bled them by the pumping method and $120 later I finally can drive my car without shudder. "
  15. Looking to buy a set of FG turbo brakes to fit to my BA, now I know the fronts will fit but can't find anything on the rears.. Anyone know?
  16. Did this the other day... was a great day. (wheels)
  17. Found a bloke on eBay that does them. Comes to you and changes it over. Got my new one in black, looks amazing.. But I'm in Melb so it doesn't really help you..

    Remsa Pads

Ive had my remsa's for a while now, and still brake dust like a moro, and now they squeal like a bitch too.. But they work very well, so its a compromise I can live with.. weather is sh*t so I don't need to keep the car clean and turn the music up and don't hear the noise..
  19. He means its cheap insurance, as in buying a surge is cheaper then your engine running lean, blowing up and then having to rebuild it.
  20. Lol at those prices whichever you don't buy, I'll but it...

    Fuel Efficient

Nah plenum is still stock.. So basically theres not much that can be done really... hmmmm.....

    Fuel Efficient

Plugs changed last service, 02 sensors have prob never been changed, plug gap is .7 Doubt compression and fuel trims were checked.. The way my mind thinks of it is, if everything is freed up than it will make the whole car perform more efficiently, like with a dump and cat, less back pressure, will make the same power on less boost, a retune with more emphasis on fuel economy than just out right power.. Maybe I'm just unconsciously just wanting to do more mods and trying to justify it to myself lol..
