Boost Solenoid Maintenance

As others hae mentioned it is A TUNE PROBLEM or more specifically its your TUNER and the tuner should not be making you get a new boost solinoid.

Tell them to either update his ancient tune software or give you your money back. You may be better to drive a bit more north and see someone like C&V who know this software backwards.

It is the tune in the box, not the box itself.

Did you get a custom tune or is it a generic tune from CAPA ?

If it was a custom tune, that is the problem, if it is a generic, then speak to CAPA.

I hope you have not just bought a new XCAL1 box (no display only a button) as they are a end of life product and will become useless at the end of June.

Makes you wonder if a certain company is clearing out old stock, and can't actually update the tunes on the boxes given all the recent hysteria?

If you are using Xcal 2 or 3 , when you load in your tune select user options and adjust wastegate Duty to 100%.

something else I have just notice is the car is feeling like its running less boost in stock then before I had put the tune on. so iam just wondering could it be the BOOST SOLANOID??????

I can change it over myself I just need to know how much it would cost
