that's usually the way, but half the time it doesnt match up. The online calculator said mine made 810rwhp going on 1644kg and 142mph but the car only had 680rwhp when I ran it.

What was your 60ft and half track mph ?

Basically if you drive them on the street they are street tyres, with the exception of full slicks. If a police officer pulls you over, he will still see tread on et streets etc.

Nice build mate, looks like your doing everything properly But why the secret with the turbo ? its not like its hard to make big power in a barra motor ?

To be honest, I would have liked to have gone bigger, but couldnt be bothered redoing the manifold to fix T6 flange. Capri with a GTX47-88 = ultimate Converter is currently being modified, so should get that back next week. As I said in the other thread, the GTX45 comes on alot earlier then the previous GT42. Ill post some graphs with the 2 runs overlayed. Should also have some power figures in 2 weeks. Yep, good old xf throttle body, ebay cooler, and box plenum. If it aint broke, dont fix it

I haven't tested against a precision, but the GTX turbos are amazing. I just went from a GT42 to a GTX4508 and the GTX comes on alot quicker/harder and makes alot more power down low. I'll post a graph of the difference between the 2 some time next week once I visit my tuner again.

I wouldnt bother trying it. Rod lets go and puts oil under your rears....not worth it IMO.

Was just about to say im running the Atomic flexplate and balancer with no issues, rev's to 8k and hits the limiter alot Did you loctite your convertor bolts ? Oh and very nice car mate, well done

Pretty sure Motec can run VCT. You can also run any aftermarket ECU and grab some adjustable cam gears from Atomic.

I have a 4inch exhaust, 5inch cat with 1 straight through 4inch muffler dumped just before the diff. Very loud and quite annoying really. But sounds cool once you give it a squirt.

The launch is pretty sh*t, going to add a transbrake to sort it out. Also, had the car on the dyno yesterday and for some reason its only on 23psi instead of the 29psi its meant to be on. Hopefully next time im out on full boost, ill get some more MPH out of it.

Yeah I agree with the above, I went .5seconds quicker and gained 3mph.

Went to WSID today. Running 255 radials the car went 9.94 @ 142mph with a 1.7 60ft. Should have a video in a couple days

Who could be bothered to mix fuel ? either tune for 98 or e85.
