I have a feeling these motors are gona start popping up in all sorts of older cars! theyr becoming cheaper and easier to get and are such an awesome motor to extract power out of! should be a beast cant wait to see the finished product :buttrock:

My first car was an XF Fairmont, was great but slow. You've certainly fixed the issue here! Looking forward to new orange paint job though, good choice on changing :)

I've seen that thing around my area... I have a feeling you're not so far away. also have an xf sitting in the shed awaiting a turbo motor. its a mates car and he's just looking to start getting bits and pieces together now while we do the body work.

I seen the cooler on the front when I saw you, but had no idea it was running an xr6t motor haha, like your style :beerchug:

Started working on the car again, hopefully should be running on the weekend.

Tried fitting the gt47 but there is not enough room and I would stuff around 2 much. Will post pics of the gt42 and new manifold when I finish it tomorrow.

Good to see it's still progressing! Be good to see it run at the strip eventually.

Mate that looks like a great option, although I have a couple of questions. What is tare weight of the vehicle, and how does the rear end cope with the power. As the XF was a continuation of xD, XE, and the XE 351 putting out 149kw,s at yhe flywheel, just wondering how the rear end engineering was coping with a 200-300% increase, cheers.
