    No updates on the escort mate. Trying some new wheels on the car. These are 20x8.5's just to see what they look like. Will probably get em in 20x10's and black centres.

    No vids yet. Im going to change from the aeromotive pro series pump back to my twin 044's. Its 2 loud and not meant to be in a daily driven car. sh*tty iphone pic of dyno.if any mods can fix the pic, go for it

    Had the xf tuned today. Made 733rwhp on 29psi through the auto/4k stall converter. Took it for a drive tonight and its quite fun
  4. Hey mate, how is the car going ? What sort of power was it putting out through the auto at 28psi ? Was is the converter causing problems ? Any current power figures through the auto ? Thanks

    Micks motorsport is tuning it for me. Was on the dyno today, upto 620rwhp so far. Should go 700rwhp, ill find out on monday or so Only bad thing is the auto/4000rpm stallie shows sh*t power figures on the dyno :(

    Update. Got the car running a month ago, took it for a drive with the standard motor untuned. 4inch exhaust is loud as. Have put the built motor in, new fuel system, new convertor and is now running E85. Getting tuned next week. Anyone had a built motor with a GT42/E85/30+psi or similar. What sort of power figures have similar setups made ?
  8. Just wondering what fuel rail everyone is using with the ID2000 injectors. Was it a straight bolt in job or did you have to modify the rail/mounting points. Thanks

    I actually have 2 sets of convo pro's at home, 15x4 front runners with 15x8.5's and 15x10's and a set of 15x12 weld magnums, but I think they will make the car even more bogan. I would only change the rims for a set of FR20's or billets. As for an update, will finish off the brake lines tonight, mount the trans cooler and hopefully have it running for saturday night

    Might be changing the rims cause I lent them to someone and they guttered em all :( that's not the fuel tank, that's the spare wheel well. Im going to stone guard everything so wont be orange anymore.

    Pic of the car almost finished. Have to lower the front to match the rear. Will post some pics soon of the new fuel system aswell. New fuel system going in shortly to suit E85. Aeromotive Pro series pump ID2000 injector without adaptor ID2000 injector with adaptor -10 to twin -8 Y block and various speedflow fittings -10 hard line Duel feed fuel rail with return in the middle.

    Couple updates. 4inch exhaust with straight through 4inch muffler is on, dumped at the diff. Twin bocsh 044's and new surge tank installed (but I will be replacing this shortly with a whole new fuel system) Put some Wilwood brakes on. Just waiting for my brother to finish a few things on the car and its done and ready to pick up

  15. Just after peoples experience's with different stall convertors. Running an XR6T with a torque power bellhousing/C4. What converters did everyone use/stall/price/power etc etc Thanks

    Needs a clean. There has been rubbing down water on the wheels/car for the last couple years haha Ill post some pics in the next couple weeks. Might be putting wilwood brakes on the front.

    paint is orange with gold pearl...similar to the ford focus. and yes that was it on the cumberland highway, was coming home from getting the exhaust done

    Car is now painted and slowly being put back together. Should be done by the middle of May.

    Dash is standard xf. Nothing in the car is BA apart from the motor.

    Dont know what mounts were used, as my brother did it all. But no mods to sump needed, its basically a bolt in conversion. There is no sway bar on the front, but ive been meaning to try an xg swaybar. It has had both an auto and manual in it. Manual bolts straight in like normal, but I am putting the C4 back in which use's an aftermarket bell housing. Rear gearbox mount is oem.

    I ended up getting the complete oil pump and the balancer...along with the cam gears, main girdle, head and main studs and cometic gasket. Running argo rods, cp pistons, ported head with aftermarket cams etc etc. Now I just have to rip the motor out for the engine builder to put it together.

    Just started working on this sh*tbox again. Ordered argo rods and cp pistons, going to order the rest of the parts in the next few days. Does anyone know if I should go the whole atomic oil pump or just the billet gears? And the balancer, are the stock balancers known to fail/break etc etc?
