The AMG may outpace the RS4 but the RS4 will handle much better I think. There's a tuner on youtube who fit a supercharger on a RS4 and it sounds awesome. The AMG and RS4 are definately a more daily driven animal as opposed to the porches which should see more track duty then milk and bread duties!

I had some experience with them with my Phoon and the service was very average, got shafterd on price and I drove out thinking all good till I gave it a bootful and the the car was pinging under load, they should never have let me out of their driveway without recommending a fuel pump upgrade. When I went to get the fuel upgrade sorted they wanted to bend me over on price so bye bye Croydon hello CV!

Hey guys, When do you reccomend I change the oil I've got 18 clicks on the phoon and the ZF gets belted often, should I look to change it now and would anyone be able to change the oil, anything I need to keep in mind if I visit the local mechanic with the Castrol in hand?

It's demand vs supply. It's part of the property cycle. When there was the sales boom a few years back the rentals were cheap and landlords were struggling to find tenants, when everyone was buying to move in or to invest. NOW the sales are steady and the rentals are going through the roof. Don't blame your landlord, you can blame the government but the rental market was alwyas going to make a huge recovery after such a big and long lasting property boom that we had. The government didn't plan ahead of what would happen to the market after having such a large boom. The current media hype about the rentals have put further pressure on tenants as landlords are reading the information and are wanting better returns after getting below average returns for the last five years. Housing is still expensive and though there is the first home buyers grant there are still too many ppl out of reach in buying a property. There's been alot of development and construction of medium to large density properties in the last five years and rental acomodation has been affordable till now only because there is now a shortage of properties and investors. Investors are only just returning to the market after some taking heavy losses, many bankrupt and many that have debt up to their necks. Yes it definately is a good time to buy especially for those that are looking to buy under 500K. What the Sydney market is experiencing is something I've been expecting for five years now. The market is trying to recover but before it does that, the rentals have to increase improving rental yields and keeping sale properties under control, this will remain a fact for at least another two years before the housing market has; readjusted itself, more land available for new housing, confidence is renewed in the market for investors. Rentals will never drop or have such a major drop in pricing like it did a few years back only because the rental market has had to increase compared to the cost of owning an investment property and that there will not be a repeat of such a large property boom that we expereicned a few years back. Paying higher rent is only a part of life now and it's not your landlords fault the market is driving the rental market up and it will continue to climb for time to come so it definately is a time to look at your financials and consider getting yourself into the market and buy your first home or investment. PS. I work in the Real Estate industry and follow the market very closely.

I have the C55 AMG and may look to upgrade to this soon. I got an invite to test drive the CLK63AMG so will let you guys know how that goes. I'm expecting big things from the 63 range. My cousins got the 996 911 Turbo and the car is an awesome package. Love driving the thing when the twin's kick in, now that's what you call neck jerking performance. Can only imagine how good and quick the new TT and GT2 is.

The ZF will be right as long as you don't launch it too hard and if you lunch it and least it can be fixed..in melbourne that is. Not sure if you've considered a boost controller as I have the E-boost 2 and it works very well for daily driving and having fun tunes. Enjoy the car and get used to the power before you hit the strip!

Congrats James! Another Crazy Rapid Phoon on streets. The Phoons response, to quality boltons are amazing. I'm running about 390rwkw on 14 psi, so your car is just another example of having the right set up. I may have missed it but are you running the ZF?

A mate brought along his TT to cruise with us had 176 awkw on the dyno from the showroom, then did snorkel, debung, edit and squirters, 251awkw and it was an animal, suprised a few of the guys off the mark and rollon. The FPV Territory should have come out earlier this year so many potential lost sales till now, though will still sell strongly.

A couple fo the boys just put on the KU31's Phoon and GT and their pretty happy with them so far. I've got the Michellin's yes they are not cheap but still a great tyre.

There seems to be alot of hot headed drivers out there who just need to take chill pills and think how their actions impact on others. True. Some drivers out there definately need a reality check and stop endagering their own lives and those that are driving next to them. Speak to anyone that's recently had a car accident and let them tell you how they felt after it.

Yeah it may. Just don't forget the Phoon's are under quoted and rated more at 300fwkw. Though would love to see it on the road vs a phoon with minimal mods that's running 300rwkw. That would be interesting! Not discrediting the gts-r if it actually is coming out good on HSV just talking real world comparisons if the car eventuates to production and these cars are driven instead of stored.

Before you speak to Autotech why don't you check the other sponsors. CV Performance and Tunehouse are also in Sydney and doing great things for fords in particualr xr6t's. Keep your options open.

I saw ANYHSV it was a blue BA GT on parra rd a few weeks back, I was behind it but not close enough to see if it was a copper though. I'll keep an eye out for it. I was thinking great plate at the time and would have to be running minimum 300rwkw to be that confident. There's alot of undercover's running around in different cars seen alot xr8's with stripes, camry's and magnas.
