No issues with the ZF at this stage. The bottom end and gearbox have been copping a beating since the last tune. Knock on wood it continues that way. Not too concerned about the bottom end but the gearbox and the unkown specs and mystery behind it really is something that hopefully changes soon enough.

Yep it was. First run out, never run before and the nerves didn't help. Ran twice before the rain came down. Need practice on the burnouts was running street M/T's on the back. Having trouble stalling up off the line so took off with no boost, first run all over the track due to not warming up the tires. Came on and off boost due to a*se end keep kicking out. Ran 12.3 first run. Second run ran 11.9, 122mph, 1.9 60' foot. Practice and more confidence will help bettering the times. Great timing and with a bit of luck he pulled it off. Car sounded good and some great cornering, was it just me or on the straights the car didn't go as fast as it sounded when you look at the surroundings and cars being passed?

I've got a 4 speed and a 6 speed at home. There is no comparison as the six speed is very responsive and having the phoon for a year I found that the gearbox does know what expected of it and works in with the way you drive. Those two extra gears make a huge difference on the highway too. You need to put in consideration for the amount of times your 4 speed lets go and the cost of rebuild as compared to the six speed being able to handle between 350-400rwkw. I'm an exception with 422rwkw. For how long who knows????

Mines tuned at 98 also but runs the 100 consistently. Do the boosters really add 7 ron or is that just 'marketing'?

Guys, Just wanted to get ppl's opinions on Octane Boosters. Does it really work? Any positives or negatives? I run V-Racing 100 religiously in the car and weekends throw the Nulon booster in and found that when it's in the fuel consumption is pretty good. Cheers Billsta

I didn't say he should do the zorst before the pump or squirters anyway it's good to see ppl read the the posts properly and understand them. 'the stock zorst as we all no the stock zorst is not bad!!!' is a very general and vague comment to make when someone is seeking advice in upgrading their exhaust....

It's got nothing to do with being a salesman nor is my zorst being on sale affect my comments if it's not this guy it will be another guy that's not the issue. It's the advice and how you put it to a guy that's looking to buy an exhaust that makes the difference. Let's be realistic for a second and yes the injectors are of prime importance but the way you potray and give advice on the exhaust is where I'm getting at. We all know what comes first mate, no need to be so simplistic about it, it's important that guys that don't know get the right advice, like your suggestion for an aftermarket cat and how guys have done so well with them.....

Envy-T how can you say a full exhaust is a waste of money when you have so many guys going down the tight ar*se path of putting a aftermarket cat or dump not getting the results and then going through the double expense of then buying a whole zorst system. There a countless examples of this. In some cases yes some guys are making decent power with the factory exhaust but one way or another everyone running high 200's and over 300rwkw range and upwards changes to a full aftermaket system. No matter short term or long term it's a mod that has to be done to get the full potential of the car.

I've been running the e-boost 2 for a few months on the phoon and it works well with edit and tuning. It's a good looking unit and the lights match the dash and speedo lighting at night and looks like it comes with the car. The boys at CV installed it on the right hand side on top of the dash, it's a great product for the money. Shane with the power your making I think you definately need one...or maybe two...

Custom 4 inch dump, 4 inch cat, 4 inch single all the way through. Got put on the car today. Will see the difference when it hits the dyno end of the week.

I'm selling my X-Force for $1200 including postage interstate if anyone is interested. X-Force Exhaust Stainless Steel Exhaust, 3.5 inch dump, 3.5 inch cat into twin 2.5inch and twin three inch tips. (No drone) Selling $1200 only been on the car six months.

Mate I've got a cooler that 410x410x105mm in my F6 fit stright in. It's a custom cooler I may consider selling it with three inch piping if your interested.

I think Brian saw the difference with my car, so it's given him motivation to go the next step. So will it be just more of an agressive tune or will you get more goodies on the F6.
