Well, I just thought I'd post an update on my car.

On Tuesday I had a Vortech V1 T-Trim with straight cut gears fitted by C & V. It was a CAPA kit supplied with crank drive (as opposed to the more recently common accessory belt drive). The car pulled 290rwkw and feels super strong down low. The car will make more, however after a bit of heat kicks in, the plastic air intake seems to be collapsing under full throttle, starving it for air. A test was done and by removing this pipe alone gave the car another 30rwkw, that's how restritive it is. Had to put the pipe back on as it started to lean out abit. A metal pipe will be made for it and a fuel pump will be fitted in the nex week or two, so I can have my 30 kw back.

A friend is having a kit installed with intercooling on his BF GT aswell, so I'll see how his goes before I decide on what intercooler to use. I'll take Sutty's setup into consideration aswell, but at this stage I'd probably like to go with something like GavinK's.

The car is a sh1tload of fun to drive, and the low down punch is massive. Across the rev range, throttle resonse is 100% better than previous and lighting the tyres up is a breeze. The looks on peoples faces when I pull up next to them is rather funny aswell. I don't have any pics as yet, just a small video at idle. I'll try and get some tomorrow and show yall.
