Properly setup and tuned a 290 BOSS is good for 400rwklw :msm:

Iv'e hear of about 5 that let go with around 32orwkw, other's have made 4oorwkw no issue's. One particular car made 4oorwkw with boost and sprayed a 75shot and made 465rwkw & insane torque figures, intake temps plumited with the gas. Owner pulled the n2o straight off and will install once the new engine is in.

With the quality of the internals anyone's guess it's pot luck really.

See problem is we can't hang too much sh%t on the V8 boys now as they are startin to crack the 300s plus. Only once you get your T into the 400s are you in the zone.....

Time to get that new bottom end into the T.need to get those billet oil pump gears.

I'd like to see 400rwkw last on a stock boss motor! It might not be to bad down low rpm but spin it high rpm for a while and see what happens.

We all know they dont like the rev limiter with a blower attached, just ask the people who have broken there's.

I am happy with 330 and being a manual I dont often go near the high rpm range.

Time will tell though as Steve did own it before me.

It does bring them to life though

Cheers,

Brett

Saw the guys installing it the other day, man they work fast over there at C&V.

So Rob, when are you installing the Nos kit, you know C&V have a name to up hold, "Get it Gassed".

Well done on the blower.

Had my blower on for over 12 months now, there's been a heap of other's running around as well but most just arn't on the forums at all.

See the gold Ba xr8 in the street ford's mag, 8oorwhp @18lb's. Admittedly it's a big $$$ setup and the block is overkill but 8oorwhp is still a fair wack of grunt.

Iv'e had my blower on for over 12 month's now, no engine issue's at all. Std rpm limiter with the hard cut removed, iv'e hit it that many times it's not funny.

Iv'e toasted 2o odd set's of tire's doing burnout's so im certainly not gentle with it, if it blows it blow's iv'e got 3 spare engine's.
