fords not being completely honest about figures imo, most suspected the 6 would be quicker but when official figures were released this theoretically shouldn't have been possible with the v8's torque curve holding 575nm flat from 2200 all the way to rev cut at like 6500. that should have nullified the 6's power under the line advantage but rumors from ford testers are the 6 just pips the 8. The only way it could really do that is if its making power differently or just more than what they have claimed. the 50kg more the 8 weights wont make that much difference I wouldnt think..

I think the mesh is over the top, its well protected without it, mesh would maybe stop a bird lol..The way it is nothing coming off the road will hit it.
