1975 me and 2 mates bought a BSA 500 twin chopper. LOL,,,fun bike. 1982 I bought a Yamaha RD250LC, went to the 350LC after that, after that came the Kwaka GPz1100A1. awesome bike that I crashed a few times hahaha. Then a TL1000S I raced for a couple of years, then 1998 R1, 1999 R1, (plus a 98RGV250 that I still have) GSXR600 tracky,,,and an 09 R1. So still have the 09 R1 and the RGV250. Motox I just got rid of the RM250. (Had a YZ125, YZ250, IT495,,,wooo that was back in the day)

I've been running Falkens on the rear (275's) and have just changed to Nittos,,,,,,difference is chalk and cheese, Nittos are awesome. I run either Falkens or Advans on the front, depends on the dampening settings.

I had the same problem with the Falkens, switched to Nitto and vibes all gone.

I've let it get down to 0km or 1km till empty a few times cos lots of servos around and take it very easy with no harsh acceleration. Every time I've put in 63 litres, have had it once to 63.8. I drive it traffic all day so mileage is rotten.

UHF CB's are of course 476-477MHz. The 80 channels still haven't been legislated through ACMA but 40 channel radios are available that can be upgraded to 80. Take a look at the new GME TX3540 with the remote mic. Rural police are VHF, they operate 162-164MHz. You will need a separate radio and antenna. Especially around Mt Donna Buang , Lake Mountain and Reefton etc you're gonna need a decent external VHF antenna. As for hidden antennas there's lots of options. Internal antennas are pretty poor performers. The most discrete is an onglass external. They work quite ok and not very obtrusive. On the pic below you can see the small onglass antenna on the top right of the rear screen. The others are for well pretty much everything.

Same here, they started off well, didn't do the tune but just normal services etc, put my second clutch in, then came all the issues after the 3rd service. Will NEVER go back. They gave me attitude after I complained.

hmm, yeh must be the booster. I'll give the mech a call tomorrow and see what he can get me one for.

Funny you say that, I ended up putting coilovers in it as well as Superpro bushes and it fixed the problem, but what I've found is that now the front brakes ARE dragging. So you reckon it's the booster? Would it be internal or something I can fix myself? It seems to happen only when the car gets hot like driving around city traffic.

Happens to lots of them as far as I know. When I took mine off for the mod it was the same. Very rare to find one not cracked.

45 spark plugs?

I've never been down the quarter but wouldn't mind trying it one day maybe, only tracks I'm on is Winton, Sandown and Phillip Island.

Mine has done the same since new, it's a real bonus on the track with a little quicker gearshifts (less lag). Driving around the city you can adjust your change method a little and use it to your advantage.

Still going strong.. 2005 BA2 302RWKW in street tune, a fair bit over in track tune. Done 162,000km so far, engine still purrs well. Have finally sorted the suspension for track now and it feels nice. Can't say much for the door actuators though, 3rd one on the drivers side, finally got it sorted with a reco'd unit off ebay.

It's not only dealers, even a couple of performance shops stuff you around, say they've done something and they haven't, say they didn't do something and they did. Very difficult to find a good shop to service your cars these days.

1. drive shaft CV's will be loaded. Same as a full car load 2. bump stops will be pushed in so hard and solid...did you take them out or cut them down?

Ok that rules 1 thing out at least. A couple of threads last year about lowered T's cut bump stops etc, but it's something else. Maybe get a once over at a good suspension shop,,,where are you based?

How low is your car?

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor. use the above method to seat it correctly at idle etc.

Plus don't forget to reset the TPS after you've cleaned the throttle body....always a good idea.
