  1. I'm not sure how you get me loving him from my responses tbh I'm just being non bias which I can understand may seem like I am a keen supporter.. I have seen you bag him every now and then so just wonder what's your beef in person with him and why Bizkets? As for why he isn't tuning my car? I had a falling out with him due to a mechanical mishap so in turn led to me no longer opting for him to tune my car mate. Not once have I ever had a tuning issue with Bruce....how many tuners can keep a stock BA motor/stock BTR trans together way above its intended use for 40,000kms and over 80 passes at the track(2 Gazzanationals also)? 3" cat back exhaust and 17psi E85 GTX3582/80lb Dekas/FG manifold and the car went 10.99@129,2mph on a sh*t 1.70 60ft.....car saw 350kms to a tank on E85 and started first crank cold mornings and over 550kms to the tank on 98 average speed of 28kmhr. I have gotten over my issue though with him and ages ago which might make it seem I still support him possibly I don't know :/ Again,it was a genuine question bloke
  2. FG plenum and power steering relocation may have helped allot. The FG turbo exhaust manifold places the turbo about 20mm closer to the firewall also compared to B series and sits the turbocharger in a low/mid mount position when fitted to a B series car. This helps with the cone clearance on the silencer.
  3. He might be a has been to you but he has more runs on the board than many here in SA. Deserves the respect mate not the sh*t canning. Has he done wrong by you personally man?
  4. The JE piston rebuild kit from SPOOL is about $2300 delivered(don't use the ROSS) Oil pump gears, tensioner, timing chain, new guides, crank sprocket about $1100 Head studs, oversized ATOMIC washers,Mains studs about $700 Block/rod/crank/possible tunnel machine work 1k minimum and basic reconditioned head @ $700 so about 1500-2k in machine work. Gaskets about $150 Unexpected pop ups $??? Engine assembly(will vary quite a bit as builders have different methods/time spent assembling motors) but expect $1500-$2500 on assembly. I have only been very basic in listing stuff just to show it adds up quite easy. If you build it do it right(this in itself is subjective though from person to person but a known good builder puts a mind at rest) as you will kick yourself afterwards for not doing so. These engines can be slapped together quite cheaply but reliability at the level of boost we speak of isn't usually held onto for very long. It all depends how picky you are and what your budget allows. Ill donate a set of rollers for you if the motor has to be used....they were what I was going to use in my current motor but a set popped up just a bit better nick again so went that way....by no means are these hammered and have very good even wear on them.
  5. I don't think it will happen for 5k unless he can assemble and machine himself. Happy to be proven wrong though
  6. Mistake on the tuners count also...none at heinrichs.
  7. Not handy sorry. Its cushion mounted though to the body.
  8. Here's my setup. Two AN12 lines to the oil/air separator and a AN12 line from the can to the turbo intake.
  9. Haha yeah I can see why that was hard to understand when we are talking temps atm and my start of sentence said I checked my temps lol. When I said I checked my temps I meant I checked my temperature to see if it was high as I was agreeing with you. If in doubt ride it off and go pfffftttt......its never intended to have malice.
  10. Checked my temps before posting...but I agree with above
  11. Mate I was having a lend Don't confuse me with the majority please.
  12. Street Fighter mat?
  13. So if budget allows then go the superior ID injector in your books ratter? Or are the two injectors just as good as each other and it balls down to if the customer is well off he gets suggested ID injectors?
  14. Hmmmm.....you know he is a tuner mate and has 50,000kms of experience with air to air ? I have heard certain people can use the Xcal and speak to the ZF and see if they like a heat exchanger more.
  15. KPM are becoming more and more popular with tuners due to the extra money they can make on them over the ID1000 equivalent.
  16. That's the limit of new coils so a booster will be needed for piece of mind. 19psi actuator will see 26psi up top held no worries.
  17. What psi of boost you planning on running mate? Hopefully the Weapon X coils are better made now.
  18. Finished 90% of the fuel plumbing today and also the oil/air can plumbing
  19. More work on the fuel and the oil to air separator system today
  20. Oil drain mate.
  21. Nice...did the same with my new motor regarding the tapping and installing fittings to block off. I also had the larger one above the fittings welded over. Perfect time to get a AN12 drain from the back of head directed to the pickup also
  22. Sorry ratter put the numbers in wrong spot it was for 98 closed loop .
  23. Does anyone make a 1/2" one so we can run a true AN8 return line with a sensor?
  24. What size are the barbs on the E85 sensor on the return line?
  25. My 80lb Dekas idled flawlessly, never a hiccup on the throttle, started well all the time and car got North of 550kms to the tank on 98 octane(350+ on E85 14.7 AF at cruise) 17psi GTX turbo average speed of 28kmhr. Is this good?
