  1. The only other thing is if you want to play online with friends (or your son does) No good having a PS4 or a kick-arse PC if all the mates are off shooting noobs on the XBone (and vice versa)
  2. PC by a mile if you have the hardware and what you want to play isn't a console exclusive. Take a look at iRacing if interested in a driving sim - seems to be where all the big boys play (has a subscription, but usually has cheap/free try outs)
  3. Jeez Tab - you should post that in the WPMO thread. Oh.... wait...... NVM
  4. Does pulling the battery overnight cause it to reset and relearn or does it require a TCM reset?
  5. I'm tipping FG given his other posts (FG door trim etc) From what I understand the FG's exhaust is fine to max the small turbo as long as the CAT is swapped out (including restrictor ring if applicable) Intercooler and piping would be next step I'd imaging?
  6. Seems to be possible - will give it a go. Sounds like it may only be possible on shared computers though :( Would explain why I can no play my sons library and him mine. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3784-QLBM-5731 For some reason Origin tells me I've filled my friends list and can't add any more - I've only got 5 :S Have added you - see if there's something at your end that allows you to request access to my library? OT - WPMO - sitting at the office chatting about games while I could be sitting at home chatting about games (with a beer)
  7. Am actually spending more time watching my son play than I do myself. Myself and his sister spent a good 12+ hours watching him work through The Last of Us a few months ago - something I'd never get close to bother finishing and it was far more enjoyable, longer lasting and cheaper than taking them to the movies. My list of games I need to play (and want to) is huge - curse you steam sales - but I seem to spend too much time trying to choose what to play than actually jumping in and knocking one over. If anyone wants to add me on Steam I think you can have a go of any of the games in my library (as long as I validate the request) - feel free to send me an PM and a in Steam request - username is andrab (I think - same dragon icon). Not sure how it works, but am more than happy to try - just don't cry if it kicks you off mid-game when I start something up. There might be a 10 friend limit or something on sharing libraries? Only just found that option the other week for my sons account - not sure if it's because he's logged on on the same box or not though.

Paid and PM sent.   Your airfare is 1 step closer to complete :P
  9. Excellent They did look bigger on the dining table though Might be worth seeing how the black wheel centres go now - might match nicely with the calipers?
  10. handy - hahaha I get it handy
  11. Gaming is still considered childish by my "mature" friends None of them realise that I've got all the latest setups for myself, rather than for the kids I can interest them in my driving cockpit for Gran Turismo, but beyond that "games are for kids" seems to be the general consensus - unless it's some crappy facebook or iphone game - then it's cool.
  12. Tutorial here on the pads - rotors should be easy after you get that far. Just ensure you've got the correct rotors - Repco gave me the standard Falcon/XR6 not the XR6T/Territory larger ones when I went shopping (I trusted their computer/cashier)
  13. Yeah - Am still hoping to get the spark back again. Might actually put this weekend aside and "force" myself to do nothing but game - instead of going cold turkey to kill the addiction I may need to jump right in hard to re-ignite it
  14. From his perspective you could just as well have been putting on lipstick and doing your hair/makeup while sitting in the car hogging the bowser
  15. Why not fill up and idle forward to an empty bay before flashing the tune?
  16. I was off my feet for almost a year until I had back surgery (lying down flat 24/7 - severe pain any time I got up or moved - had a fold out bed at the office so I could at least lie flat at work and be functional). Anyway - during this time I decided I needed to keep away from gaming or else I'd just lead into a huge addiction issue once I was back on my feet (would play until after midnight most nights prior to this) Sad part is - now, as much as I still love gaming, I've lost most of my interest in actually playing :( I'm still excited with new releases - buy the ones I want, watch all the youtube gaming channels, keep up to date with what's coming etc, but am not finding myself actually playing the games anymore.
  17. Hell yeah. 40+ a day (pack of Longbeach 40's) to 100% switch the day my e-cig arrived with no craving. Over 3 years now and well over $20k saved
  18. Same tyres all round? Have been some cases where, if the car sees the wheels turning at different rates or the steering is on an angle (either sensors out or tyre sizes differing) the auto believes you're in a corner or turn and will hold gear. Maybe do a tyre rotation first - if that doesn't change anything have the sensors checked/reset?
  19. I didn't see it this time, but I think I did the last time I was over (must have driven the same road) If it is the same one as the one I'm thinking of it's a decent size opening in the side of the hill blocked off by a large, cell type (bars) door? Looks like an entrance to the underworld - not a drain outlet.
  20. Cheers guys - I guess I did post it in a thread titled "Stupid Questions"
  21. With that in mind - is there a way to force a car into limp mode (to ensure safety etc if just wanting to move a car)?
  22. WPMO - When I get to the office and the forum is down. Means I have to do some real work to look busy
  23. Tunnels on Gorge Road quote from that thread: I find it interesting that you say that theres a tunnel on gorge rd.........Alan Barnes one of the victims of the "Family" was found at Kangaroo creek Dam which is in the vicinity of that very same rd. I too would love to know the history of that tunnel and where it leads.
  24. For the record - there was no incident - a certain vehicle got a little loose on takeoff on a private road
  25. Would be a good side business for me - the number of people we have calling asking for bookshelves or kitchen shelving etc Haven't looked through the thread yet Ralph, but am tipping that jokes been used a few times already? edit: yep lol - a dozen of so posts up
