  1. I don't know why they don't just up the entry fee a bit and prep the track every Wednesday night

I think 10.7 is the cut off , see how I go in the next couple of months. Yeah should go quicker , on the 10.8 run it stepped out in first and spun a bit into second . That was my last pass of the night in the right lane

I recently had cms put in a stage 2 gearbox after the standard gearbox stopped working. I thought I had broken the input shaft , but when they pulled the gearbox out the input shaft was in perfect condition . The weld on the basket that the input shaft goes into had failed. Finally made it to WSID last Wednesday night , first time I've run it at this power level. My best run out of the four was 10.8 130mph . I will try and get down there again soon and give it another go.
  4. I was racing , I will update my thread soon. I will say hello next time , I didn't realize it was you until I saw your last two passes and the times you were running. I can see how the level of grip caught you by surprise because the first two runs the track was so slippery .
  5. Yeah I was in the tunnel a few cars back. I could only just see the timing board through the smoke lolYou and car shuts down anyone with an excuse on why their car isn't running the time it should. Doing a 1.5 60ft on what are they 265/??/18 ? Et streets on the standard wheels with the cords hanging out lol
  6. Must of been that killer burnout you done before that run lol , who said et streets only need a slight haze.
  7. I will try and get to the track tomorrow night if can get away from work early
  8. It's kind of a dirty weekend , I don't think she would be too happy if I chose driving the car over her lol.
  9. I wash the car and that's about it , cms do the rest . It's not that I dislike doing the basic stuff it's just easier for them to do it and I've always been happy with their work . I'm running pmu ns400 pads , I've only driven the car home from the shop so too early to comment on them. I was going on the 27th but only realized the other day that the girlfriend has already made plans for me lol. So I will have to go on a Wednesday night sometime soon. How's your gearbox going , still hanging in there ?.
  10. Just a service and dba t3 rotors front and rear . Had a stage 2 box put in about a month ago . I thought I broke the input shaft but it was in perfect condition when they pulled the box out . The the weld on the basket that the input shaft goes into failed. I'm guessing it was dodgy from the factory. So I had it rebuilt while it was out. Joe had never seen it happen before
  11. Picked my car up on Saturday around 10am , seen your car there.
  12. Just had a look at the koya wheels fb page and they are bringing out a 19x10.5 with custom offset. Nice looking wheel .
  13. I wonder how much that's changes once under load with a comfort style bush?
  14. Have you thought about a carbon fibre one piece with a cv ? , I'd probably go that way if I done it again. Loving the build mate .
  15. What diff bushes are you running ? The firmer the better if you plan on running a uni instead of a cv . I ended up going back to the standard cv as I didn't like the vibration I was getting under load with the uni . My cars an fg running superpro comfort bushes.
  16. Nice result. What exhaust are you running ?
  17. Would it depend on what size intercooler you are running to what size radiator you could fit.?
  18. Maybe pm user name nelsonian101, I think he upgraded his radiator and does track days I did read somewhere the manual pwr one does fit but it's tight , it just doesn't have the heat exchanger for the auto gearbox built into it like the v8 ones do
  19. What about pwr ?
  20. Lol just tried again but still no good. Might have to change the settings on my phone , it always goes through the YouTube app
  21. Any luck fixing the issues??
  22. JL Audio. Off the shelf , fits well and hooks under the factory sub which holds it in position. I've put a couple of pieces of velcro on the underside and it doesn't move and it's easy to remove if you need more boot space. I should mention my car is an fg
  23. I think Adam has already told you who I would recommend
  24. 12psi sounds better , not sure why they would of run 18psi for a gain of 5kw.
