I had 4 Continental SportContact 6 fitted today 245/35/19 . Put about 100km on them this afternoon . Really impressed with the grip available in the cooler weather . Should be awesome once the weather warms up.

Thanks Keith . I just sprayed it with Bowdens agent orange . Hit it with the pressure washer, then gave it a blow with a leaf blower to get most of the water off . And while it's still wet sprayed everything with Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care . Let it dry then wipe any excess off and that's it , minimal effort. Thanks mate . Cms ordered it from diff technics . Not sure if it's from the driveshaft shop , possibly could be as it came from America

Recently had shockworks fitted and went back to the track. On the first run the cv on the tailshaft let go. Car was running an upgraded tailshaft but still had the standard cv joint . Originally tried a uni joint but it would send a vibration through the car while under load . I got cms to supply and fit a one piece carbon fibre tailshaft that uses an upgraded cv joint . It's working well , nice and smooth. Will try and make it back to the track in the next couple of months. Gave the engine bay a bit of a clean today

It had an out of order sign on the pump for a while then it disappeared. Did you upgrade the head studs while you had the head off ?

Wasn't happy when they stopped selling e85 at the servo near Wyong golf course , until I realised they installed a new pump at budgewoi ( which is closer to home) I'm guessing you mainly use the pump at ourimbah ?

I can see it being less effective for the guys running manuals . I don't like having it on when I'm shifting the zf manually . When it's on and you get a bit out of shape it makes it hard to steer the car on the throttle.

I have an fg auto . I don't mind leaving traction on when accelerating from standstill if I'm feeling lazy . The car is running more power than standard so doesn't take much throttle to turn the tyres from low speed. I like how it makes the gearbox short shift when it gets wheelspin and you can just ride the mid range and still get up the road at a decent pace. If I'm having a good crack I turn it off and shift manually You can't expect it to work miracles so you still have to control wheelspin with your right foot. Just makes it harder to predict now the weather is cooling down because it's harder to get heat into the tyres.

Yep, that's what it feels like.

Rebuilt with tce 2700rpm converter . I'm happy with how the gearbox is shifting . It's just after the shift that it feels like it's not accelerating at a consistent rate. Still happy with the 10.5 Only guessing at the moment . Standard gearbox was shifting perfect until the weld on the basket failed.

Updated mine a few days ago , it's still not showing .

Lol not sure what's going on , I can't read all the post in this thread . Guess it's got something to do with the forum upgrade/downgrade

Took the car to the track on Wednesday . Had a bit of an issue , after selecting the next gear the revs would hold steady and not increase for a short period before it would continue on. Feels like it's slowing the car down a fair bit and would explain why the mph is low. Could possibly be the converter not locking up. Will get the car sorted and give it another run

Lol is that mainly at freeway speeds or can you still hear them when doing 60 or 80kmh Where is the best place to by them?

They are nice and light , after I run the car I will probably get some toyo r888 or nitto nt01 for the street .

I bought them about 3 months ago from Rocket , can't really remember exactly how much they were . Probably around $350 a tyre.
