  1. Yeah the sleeper look is the way to go. Made me laugh watching all these cars coming out making heaps of noise and going no where then you rock up running standard wheels and pump out a ten second quarter with minimal fuss and noise.

    What's 400kw like for freeway rollons in 3rd and 4th . The power im making at the moment feels pretty weak from 100kmh in 3rd so I was kind of thinking maybe 450kw is a good number if you live in an area where its mostly open roads .

  7. Whats the normal burnout procedure with et streets ?? Last time I was at the track I was running 22psi in the tryes. And for the burnout I would go 1st 2nd 3rd (ZF auto) then release the brake.

  10. That's pretty impressive. So if you take off from stand still with normal street Tyres in performance mode and put your foot to the floor your car will lay fourth up the road within about 3 or 4 seconds without hitting the limiter? Is your rev cut standard ?

  12. Yeah I think it depends on what power lever you are at . The more power you make the faster the car will rev so that means the auto has to change gears quicker. And the more power you make the more wheel spin you get so that gives the auto even less chance to change gears
  13. Just a little scuffed not peeling. Its very minor and it is only noticable just after I have cleaned them . Run it by the dealer it cant hurt.
  14. I mostly wear the same style of shorts and they have a plastic button on the rear pocket and it has started to mark the leather. Car has done 23,000km

    I wouldnt worry about hot air getting drawn into the air box if you cut a hole in the front it should be fine once driving plus the air still has to go through the turbo and if you're in traffic everything will be heat soaked anyway including your intercooler and pipes.

  20. After reading your post today I started to think if water mixes with ethanol than how could oil mix with ethanol. So when I got home I poured some e85 in a glass jar and put some lucas upper cylinder lube in and gave it a stir. After I let it settle the upper cylinder lube just sits on the bottom and doesnt mix . Going by the info on the safeguard product it says it mixes with ethanol so I think I will use that from now on. Thanks for the info rednose.
  21. Yeah fuel filter was the first thing I had changed when I started having issues but it made no difference. Could the upper cylinder lube also be good for injectors and fuel reg??? That's the only thing I can put it down to as its obviously not a tune related issue because the car idled perfect for the first 6000km before having any issues and now after running the upper cylinder lube the car is now running perfect again.
  22. I've been running united E85 for the past 13000km. After getting the car tuned on E85 the first 6000km the car ran and idled perfect. Then over the next 5000km the car would occasionally stall when coming to a stop and idle a bit rough , made it hard to diagnose because 80% of the time the car would run fine . I started using Lucas upper cylinder lube and after three tanks the car started running perfect again and hasn't stalled or run rough for the past 1000km. Now when stopped the only way I can tell the car is running is if I look at the tacho. Im still not sure what the issue was but the car runs perfect now so im going to run it in the tank from now on.
  23. When you say its been flashed to 12 psi Im guessing its not a custom tune ???
  24. Spend your money on other areas like improving handling or on your stereo. You will get more enjoyment out of those mods than a louder exhaust. No point in having a louder car but still having the same power.

'
