Lol just get used to shifting manually on the street as soon as you get wheel spin just grab the next gear. No point reving the small turbo over 5000rpm you will only go slower
Yeah I want to try and get my car down there again soon. I will have to get a new set of et street radials before I go back . If your worried about your standard tailshaft just don't stall it on the brake. With the power you're making even if you have a slow 60ft you will be in the 11s easy.
Nice result mate. Did you get a 98 tune as well or are you just going to run e85 full time. Post up your dyno sheet Any plans on giving it a run at wsid?
Id let Dan run the car at the track one night and see how he goes . Not saying you can't drive lol it would just be good to get someone else's opinion on how the car gets off the line .
Yeah it must be frustrating ,it must make you second guess your ability , but after doing so many runs I really don't think that would be the case as you have had lots of practice .
Sorry mate I ment im surprised that rednoses 60ft isn't better for the revs he's leaving the line at.But yeah for your wheel and tyre combo I think you are smashing it and putting a lot of guys to shame that have pumped more dollars into these cars.
Don't rush into it and do a bit of research on what mods suit your needs and power requirements for now and if you go chasing more power in the future . And keep your options open as far as workshops go don't just go with what's close and convenient some time it pays to travel a bit to get what your looking for.
That's the response I was looking for , sounds like you have been in some quick cars. I've never owned or been in a quick street car . So the only thing I have to compare it to is my road bike.
Too bad you weren't there last night Veva would of been the perfect night to crack a 9 , Pac performance had their mx6 there so they prepped the track so id say grip would of been a bit better than your average Wednesday night. I think it ran a 6.4
