  1. Ello, search "turbo early discharge" for my full post. Had a similar problem, now fixed!. To test this, remove the concertina pipe. Take it for a run
  2. Option two is to by pass the boost solenoid completely. This will ensure you are getting maximum action from your actuator. To do this, disconnect the hose at the boost solenoid leading from the actuator. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the front of the turbo housing. Now pug the actuator hose into the front turbo housing inlet. Be sure to remove or tie up non used pipe from boost solenoid. Enjoy the power again. This is also a good test to see if your actuator or boost solenoid is faulty. Mine is permanently by passed, you get a engine fault code every so often due to the by pass.
  3. I have studs and nord lock washers, didn't stop it from loosening, my exhaust was causing the problem as the weight was to hard on the manifold, welded a bracket to the exhaust and bolted it to the gearbox. Seems to be better but it's a standard problem if you like to rev to the redline. Tighten every 4-6 weeks.
  4. The prop has one blade on top off the other, this like a diesel prop. Total of 10 blades I think, I have a photo in my computer somewhere but won't be back till much later. It produces an extra psi on the front housing compare to the back one.
  5. Yeah, flashed to 12psi, exhaust, hotter coil packs, board out front prop housing with twin blade prop to give faster spool, intercooler. Not much else. The problem was intermittent first, now it's permanent. The first boost of the day sometimes goes all the way, once it's hot its no good
  6. Yeah, the boost drops to nothing instantly, like you've killed the engine but will come back if you get off the accelerator then back on it
  7. Hi all, I have a BF that is discharging the turbo at around 4000rpm under full throttle. This problem started intermittently, but now is permanent. Still good all the way under half to three quarter throttle. I've checked all intake, outlet pipes, clamps, bov, by passed the boost e sensor, changed the (new) actuator, re-flashed too. Thinking maybe it's the waste gate or fuel pump lagging as it is standard. Has anyone experienced this or can think of anything else to check?
