  1. Haha well I couldn't get a new F6 that I wanted and the Miami is pretty outrageous! I know they don't feel as quick as the turbo due to power delivery...but there's something to be said about linear power delivery and not having turbo lag also. But almost 400rwkw from JUST a tune...yummy! Plus they sound amazeballs! And I like the idea of owning one of the last GT's, especially in white with black stripes. Looks mean!Suspension will be coming with me Marco, sorry
  2. Brand new SC 5L GT 335 :D
  3. Sooooo I may have ended up buying a manual GT in winter white with black stripes...the negative Nancy part of my brain is ruining the excitement by reminding me how much money it is...
  4. It wasn't dominos who did it, it was Crust Gourmet Pizza in Mt Lawley. Dominos have never done anything we ask :(
  5. This isn't paint related at all...but it is rather awesome and kinda made my night! Anyone familiar with the dominoes pizza app will know it has a "comments/instructions" box, in which a mate and I have often asked for random things like "please write the lyrics to fresh Prince of Bel Air on the box" etc. But dominoes NEVER once have come through for us. Tonight I ordered crust pizza for dinner and asked in their "comments" section "please draw a dragon on the pizza box"...and they actually did it!!! They actually put some effort into it too, it's a pretty rad dragon!
  6. Yeah I think it's the panda eyes that really makes the white F6 appealing...ordinarily I'd prefer something more exciting, like my current sunburst. The sheer amount of roadworks going on along my usual routes currently and what it does to the black parts of my motorbike is enough to put me off owning a black car...that and heading my stepdad winge about his being so dusty..literally just after washing it haha.
  7. Haha yeah I only just saw that essay you wrote now. The dealer did try get them from over east, apparently there's just nothing left in the manuals now. Yes, I know the ZF is faster and very good for an auto box...but I just prefer driving manuals and I'm not buying cars to turn into drag cars. mummba, I agree that black looks good when clean but I've just never been the most eager beaver when it comes to black cars. Hard to keep clean and get really hot, as you say. I really always wanted one of the white F6's, but it would seem I left it a little too late. That's life I guess.
  8. So I just couldn't bring myself to get a black car...so guess I'll just stick it out with my XR50T. Well that was all a little anticlimactic
  9. Gutted! I can only get a manual in black...hmmm
  10. Jump on their facebook page mate, plenty of examples if you look through their posts. Will give you an idea
  11. Price is still $55k drive away mate. The dealer is trying to chase down a winter white manual for me...hopefully should know this arvo if it's going to happen or not. It's crazy to think that the same car 6 months ago would have cost nearly $75k with sat nav and leather! Mustang would be cool but I've always wanted an F6 since the first came out as the typhoons and figure this is my last chance to buy one, given the dealers are pretty much on their final allotments now. Plus having a car I know the history of and a new car warranty will be nice. Also, I'm hoping that one of the last turbo FPV's will hold its value better than my XR50T. Yeah I've heard the news relating to the SC 5L XR8 to come...but honestly I think I prefer the turbo 6, hell of an engine!
  12. Yeah I'm not much a fan of the V8 bonnets on the F6's either. Thinking I honestly can't be bothered trying to keep the bonnet, and like you said it will probably look a little busy on the front of an FPV. Now I'm just waiting to see if the salesman can come through with securing the car I want...
  13. Hahaha you know I'm different mate
  14. Haha suspension will be coming with me for the F6 sorry Marco, I've still got the original gear. I'm trying to decide if I want to keep the bonnet and get it sprayed to match the new car...what's everyone reckon?
  15. Hahaha cheers guys, as I thought...and yep, she was rather yummy and you could tell she was well practised...
  16. Sooooo I may possibly be buying a brand new F6... Question for the gurus; am I right in assuming the paint/vinyl/leather protector stuff they tried to sell me for like 3K is a complete waste of time and total BS? Also, would anyone recommend actually buying the extended warranty with one of these?
  17. Stupid tapacrapa double posting...
  18. Not overly...but that story can wait for another time, depending what I end up doing about it in the end. I did, however, get to eat one of those toasties today without it falling to a germ infested death, WINNING! :D
  19. Not when I noticed a stepped in sloppy dog terd nearby...
  20. Walked to a cafe down the road this morning to grab a coffee and toasted sandwich. Left with a toasted ham, cheese and jalapeno mayo sanga that looked delicious...then the cheese and mayo ate through the bag and my sandwich fell out of the bottom of the bag, at a train station no less. If that's an indication of the kind of day today's going to be I think I should just go back to bed now and call it quits...I was really looking forward to eating that sacrilegious basterd
  21. Haha they don't look half bad actually...feel free to get them delivered to my place and I'll be happy to try them I think you'd be struggling a little though...unless you do a fair bit of guard work! HOWEVER, it would mean you could potentially fit a rear tyre as wide as a McLaren P1 (335)...haha
  22. Thoughts with you and your family Jon. I've seen how devastating something like this can be for for the family and friends :(
  23. Just for anyone who may be interested in doing something similar to this, KPM Motorsport sell a control arm spacer kit that will give you an extra 10mm clearance on the inside. I ordered a set today, cost me $195 for the kit plus $20 for the airbag to Perth.
