I only had rear brakes on my bike when I was a kid, surely the front brakes are not required. But if your going to do it right then shave the brake pedal down a bit. It's too big .

Not at all, there is a point where it goes too far. No heater in the cold isn't worth the fuel savings.

Fuel economy is heaps better but sadly didn't help my 1/4 mile time though.

I'm not so sure if your following the easiest path here. I saw a drag car that ran 8's and he had a 5" tacho. Surely if you just fitted that you'd easily run that time?

There's only two uniteds I know of in Rowville one on stud near wellington and the other just down the road on Wellington. (pretty sure it's that one) And Scoresby is just near market entrance on FTG road.

Also make sure you get the Australian version. The anerican model can not be used here (so cheap on eBay too! )

Average cost works out around the same, you make more power at less/no boost too so don't need to put the foot down as much. Although the first few tanks seem to just vanish lol

Igor, it's already available in Rowville and Scoresby. Don't wait for pakenham. Just do it. I did it and only had one local. Was no other places around. It never mattered, if you find yourself too far away just put some 98 and change the tune back.

Nitto make a very good tyre that doesn't cost the earth. Get great reviews everywhere, a few people on here use them now. Use the search on here or google them.

Honestly look into Nitto invo's. You won't regret it.

If so it really isn't much. The F6 seats are pretty ordinary in the "leather", like an old kitchen sponge in the cloth. The GTP seats are pretty good but standard ford g6e seats are fully electric, the focus has nice recaro's. So much for premium.

I still don't understand why ford and fpv dont work together to get a better name for the brand. The way it is now it really isn't worth the extra coin to own an FPV-should all have 6 pot Brembo, sunroof, GTP seats (but electric) I think they should bring back the xr8, ditch the xr6 turbo, then all boosted falcons could be FPV's and the rest fords. so simple and then the brand would make more sense and be able to at least compete with HSV.

Red was available, there was one at the all ford day. The colour range has changed now.

Really does depend on what you want to achieve.. 5k.. Injectors, surge tank, intake kit, xcal3, E85 tune, decent tyres. A bigger exhaust than the one you looked at would also help.

In this application though I don't think there would be anywhere near 8%. It would be more like 0.5%. So in context if I punched someone in the face with 0.5% less force do you think they would notice?

Honestly don't bother with any kind of performance mods at all. As Dillz suggested just focus on the other things you want, then later on you can swap them all over to a turbo model if you still want one.
