  1. Learn something new everyday I would have thought it primed enough at the start to allow a good start up though?
  2. I don't think that is your problem, Many many people on here have surge tanks with 044's, never heard of this problem before.. Just think you may have some other problem and might be wasting time and $ in the wrong area
  3. Don't think ford do finance here anymore. Most seem to use alphera (BMW finance) if so then yes you can reduce the total interest on the loan by paying it off early.
  4. I'd look at getting a second hand F6 as they do not hold value well at all. Don't buy a new one. Low km 2010 can be had for under 37 on carsales. 2008's for under 33. Pretty good deals if you consider how much they cost new
  5. I don't think the F6 is faster under any normal situation. The smaller turbo of the xr6/g6e is much better for street use.
  6. You have got yourself a great deal. I'd try and match your old repayments and cut down the length of the new loan. By the end you should have a much better car for virtually no extra cost.
  7. lol he hadn't started them yet.
  8. + 1 for the stainless intake. They sound amazing and are cheaper than the rapid option. Not so sure about the wrapping. Doesn't seem to work well on any FG I've seen so far. There is a white F6 on carsales with a wrapped roof. Should give you an idea if it's what you want.
  9. Whats the difference for you? RE: Twisties fgxod, you should have stayed until the end, On every cruise I ve been on there is always a good mix of straight roads and really good roads that twist through the hills. I think you would have enjoyed it. oh well, at least now you know for next time. on all cruises
  10. ^ this is a good point, donating members probably shouldn't have to pay more.
  11. Was a good night, the cruise at the end was quite nice. (once we got out of the suburbs) Nice to see everyone and of course meet a few of the new guys
  12. I had the Nitto's on mine. Was suprised at how much difference they made. Will be using them again on he next car.
  13. Pretty good turnout
  14. This is the single stupidest thing I have ever read on this forum.
  15. Sad but true. Nick, Don't be put off by one meet. On that cruise I barely knew anyone either. It takes a few meets for some people to get talking.
  16. He won't let you get a word in either
  17. Do it anyway, or at the very least always have at least have a tank in there
  18. Im sure if it caused the accident then yes. Do you really want to be in the accident on the first place?
  19. It's already close to its limits, it's possible to Use a 255. Any more and it just won't be safe.
  20. I didn't think it was painted at all?
  21. I wanted this but contacted them and they can't make it work on FG's

Valve springs are not always required in FG's. Some will need them at almost standard power levels, some won't need them at over 400rwkw. I'd leave the dump if you plan on a full exhaust later on, But I'd say at least change the cat to a high flow one.

Package. As for limits there is more to it. How much power do you want? Do you want it everyday or just for the track? What fuel do you want to use? FG F6's can make very good power/ run good times with a virtually standard setup using E85.
