My ba used to sit on about 12.5 with a average speed of 52kms. Check what the average speed is, if its in the 20's a mate has one and its at about 19.

Id be using better injectors than the Siemens 80lbs. Use ID 1000s you will get a much better idle....

go back to the tuner and demand it to be fixed. I had the same issue with my last car a BA MKII turbo that I got tuned it was idling rough and stalling but my tuner sorted it out took him about 6 hrs but he did it. Dont ask me what he did as I have no idea. What state are you in?

cannot stand the dust Remsa Pads emit, yes they do bite good but the dust is just rediculious. My car G6et has become a daily driver the last 2 weeks doing 350kms a week and the wheels are black by the weekend. they are coming out in the next few weeks and going something less dusty

Theres no cop chip they are taking the piss. So when you flick it across and try to drive it like a manual it wont shift? If so just take it to a auto specialist and get them to take a look. I have heard of this but cannot remember what the fix was.

if its got a warranty which it should being a 2012 model take it to ford and get them to sort ot out.

I left mine on as its insurance against idiots reversing into me, or running into me.

Stay away from the 80lb injectors go the ID 1000s much better injector, better spray pattern more aligned with our cars needs.

Glad you found the issue. Has been a bit wet recently in sydney and after driving in the rain the next morning the noise is there but clears up within a few kilometres. No rain no noise has me stumped .

Expensive to service? I think they are one of the cheapest cars to service but that depends on where you go as well.

Get it out of there and take it to one of the other reputable Sydney tuners ie: Autotech, CMS or Tunehouse.

Buy the G6ET. I have always been a manual man and the ZF is a nice box and the ford driveline isn't the best with the manual lots of driveline play, bangs and the like. Drove both before buying a 50000km G6ET and a demo XR6T in manual and it wasn't the best to much play in the driveline for me. The G6ET was just nicer in my opinion.

My local dealer use 15w-40 mineral and they recommend that but there is a option to use 5w-40 synthetic which will not hurt warranty. I do the same just supply my own to my regular mechanic but last time I didn't have time and got ford to do it and they used 5w-40 synthetic.

I had a squeak and knocking noise in the front passenger side of my car and it would come then hang around for a few days then it would disappear. Had it checked twice and the suspension was fine, needed a few things but it wasnt causing the noises as every time I took it the noise would vanish GRRR. Anyway every so often I gerni the wheel arches and the next day the noise was back and I thought back and the other 2 times I has gernied the wheel arches the day before as well. In heavy rain it comes out but not as bad. been told it could be a body mount or just water getting into a suspension joint.

Looks great, try the HD or Scholl ranges havent touched my menzerna stuff in yonks, but I do paint correction regulary. I love waxes but they just dont have the longevity for me. If you want a great sealant that is cheap and the tub will last you a life time and looks like a wax on white/silver cars and will last for 12 months get finish kare fk1000P hi Temp sealant. White cars are so unrewarding when paint correcting but they are easy to keep clean.

nice install on that cooler with the 25mm aluminium angle and the tek screws. Wonder if they are zinc plated or gal screws?

They don't have a timing belt! It could be a idler pulley one of the other pulleys or the serpentine belt. Go see Pitlane they are a sight sponsor.

A mate of mine looked into a FG XR6T but the waiting times were to long. Got a Bogan special Redline not as quick as my G6ET but geez its a much nicer car inside and to drive just not the straight line poke. When im up next year I will be getting one if the new falcon hasn't improved a lot.

Do you launch it over speed humps, median strips gutters? I saw one today under cover F6 launching over speed humps, sparks everything, would never buy an ex cop car.

Seems to be the going rate but just remember its a buyers market so haggle hard. Just make sure it has a good service history. I don't think bent blades are a common issue it must of sucked something through to damage a blade as far as I'm aware but I'm not a mechanic but have had 2 turbos without any turbo issues on either car. GCG are a well known turbo repairer so shouldn't have any issues with the repairs.

Well today it was 30 degrees and the A/C was back to being ice cold. I have a new battery 620cc unit 3 months old.

I had a issue with my G6ET on Saturday , was blowing cool air not cold with it set on low recirculate full fan speed, was barely keeping the car cool in 31 degrees. I took the battery leads off for 30mins then when I put it back on and restarted it I did the A/C reset and today it was blowing supercool air again. Will be getting a A/C service just to check everything.

Just use the Ford one.
