  1. Hey guys, just wanting to know if anyone can please help me! I've got a ba xr6 turbo completely stock. This car has been giving me trouble since day 1 and I fix a thing then another thing breaks. Anyway this time the air inlet side of the engine has a tick to it, it increases when I throttle and ticks the same pace as the idle dose, roughly 4 ticks per second. Just wondering if anyone knows of anyone else who has had this problem and if they can help me please! Thankyou!
  2. Na the noise went away as soon as the oil went in, was on full throttle that it came though, it did it once and I nursed it home and that's when I popped the hood,
  3. Hey guys, um I brought this xr6 over a week ago and the day after I gor it I noticed the engine had a slight knock, obviously I checked the oil first and yeap, empty, So I put about 3L in it to bring it to ok on the stick, (I've checked the dipstick about 10 times since then, hot, cold when ever, and it's not dropping anymore.) I think the guy thrashed it big time but I'm looking after it, also it's an auto! Just wanting to know if there's any comon oil seal or somthing? Thanks guys!
  4. How many volts if your fuel pump getting? A mates skyline was doing that same thing, turned out to be the pump was only getting 12.1 volts without lights on... Should be getting 14.
  5. Na I did give I never drive it hard, got over taken by a golf this morning... It's unbelievably bad on fuel.. Ok thanks patrol_maverick [emoji106]
  6. Hey guys, just wanting to know what others ba xr6t's fuel consumption is like? I just brought one a week ago and it constantly says around the 22L/100kms. A friend suggested that the computer might be out a little and to have a jerry in the boot and run it empty and it should fix this problem. It dose seam to chew through the fuel even when I drive slowly. Could be fuel line or jets problem? Just wanting to hear other peoples thoughts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
