The Off Topic Thread.
Well I went down with the misses to watch some Aus day fireworks and ended up standing next to 2 old dudes that looked like they were out of a sopranos episode. Kept tapping people on the shoulders and telling them to put the phones away and just watch. Were also soughting the crowd out getting the kids to the front. Was nice

@Ralph Wiggum has mentioned to me in the past that the new bosch sensors dont seem to last nearly as long as the old type and he has seen sensors only lasting 6 months

Brake pad and rotor suggestions
Yeah first mod I did was get rid of the crap stock brakes on the fg. How can a car that is both fast and heavy be so under braked. Have you looked into braided lines? I feel as if they get overlooked despite the benefits they give

I have to agree with what you are saying about the initial bite but when my missus jumps in the car from her barina my head almost always goes thru the front window for the first couple of stops haha. I dont think I could handle more bite

I dont know if you can in win 10 home but in 10 pro there are settings to turn off that suggested crap that clutters your start menu. There is also plenty of scripts out there you can run that debloat win10 if you are really keen.

Battery issue > air con issue
I dont know if it works with a battery reset but a handy tip on fg after flashing car and no aircon is to start car and leave in drive turn ac on and wait for it to kick in. Have flashed the car numerous times gone to take off down the road and the aircon wont kick in and this tip given to me by wotkshop has always done the trick.

spark plug condition?
Sometimes it has a miss other times it doesnt. Have done a lot of maintenance and small repairs lately to the fuel and ignition system with out great success but the cam timing has me worried going forward. Ive been told too heavy an oil can do weird things to the cams on start up and may see a correction on my problem but I doubt that would correct -11 that you were seeing

Brake pad and rotor suggestions
I probably do drive like a pussy because I daily my car and im not on the anchors pulling the car up on its nose every traffic light. So for a daily a low wearing low dust and easy on the rotor pad and gives good feel is exactly what I want personally. If I tracked my car id have seperate pads for that.

Brake pad and rotor suggestions
I ve had genuine brembo pads which didnt last long and were very dusty. Had qfm pads, not sure on the specifics but their mod range pad, and they were good till they wore down to about half and developed a squeal and shudder. Ended up replacing them with the pmu400s and they are great. I dont find the dust to be bad at all and is better than what ive had but I got black rims so there is that.
