The more power you get, the more you want. I have found my body has gotten used to my t. When I hop in my girlfriends getz, I put my foot down and lean forward to brace my body for the boost, but then I relize its a getz. My boost kicks in realllyy hard, so that makes it fun I guess:P
  2. I really like the idea as the girlfriend and I are always struggling to decide where to go. http://www.spiritedd.com/drives/9-tamborine-rainforest I think that looks like a nice drive to do when I get my car back from the workshop. Maybe add the option for posters to post pictures from there drive, basically outlining what we have to look forward too? Also the option for views to reduce the size of the map so the page does look as cramped? My 2c, Hope this site goes well. I know its in my bookmarks!
  3. Thanks heaps! I myself think it is the throttle body or the lpiggy back computer itself. That all does make sense, as they did some modifications to the throttle body butterfly as it was sticking. I have also read a few places that the lights cause idle issues, who would have though. I greatly appretiate your help!! I will be letting the boys know about this at ford. Please if anyone else has any past experiences or knowledge, please let me know!
  4. No news on my end, they are still trying to find out what it could be.
  5. Yeah it has happened when its been a full tank. Trust me, lost of silly questions have been asked. Cause hopefully it will be one of these questions that solve it!
  6. Hey all, As some of you know I have had a few problems with my 02 ba xr6 t It has been stalling at all different speeds (once was 80kmh, the other times were all under 40kmh). Its not when im accelerating, but its when I am braking, or just moving along without braking or accelerating. Now it has been into ford twice, and into a workshop that has done work to it previously once. I has injectors, uni chip, aps full exhaust, boost controller chip and a piggy back. It was dynoed at 248kw atw on 10psi. Ive tried: Driving with/without aircon, Sports and normal gear shifting, its happened at different levels of the fuel gauge, always been the same temp on the gauge, has happened in cold and hot days. I honestly do not know where to go from here. It is obviously dangerous to drive as it stalled and I had to rip the handbrake on at 4.30am this morning to avoid a car crossing infront of me as it wouldnt brake and I spun around. They thought it was the throttle body, So they cleaned that out. Still stalled. They thought it was the butterfly on the throttle body, modfied that as it was sticking shut sometimes. It made it idle better, but still stalling. They have tuned and been on the dyno. The tune made it obviously run better, but still stalled. Neither ford or the workshop can get it to stall when they have it, But it stalls once every 100kms orso. Now ford as asked me to post this up as they dont know what to do from here. I have been told these things could be the problem from random people: Turbo actuator, Intercooler and Torque converter. I dont know much about the technical side of things so I come here to ask. Please, if you know of anyone that has had the same problem or you know what is wrong or think you do. PLEASE post here lol. I have only owned the car for 5 weeks and its been in the shop for 3 weeks. Cheers, Todd.
  7. Might just be my eyes, but those welds look horrid.
  8. There are some amazing cars in the world. Oh, and half decent women too
  9. If only it was true,
  10. Thought it was just me who thought that. I always get in trouble when the missus sees my hand slide over the tc button in the garage:P

  16. Man this is sick! Such a cheap motor to buy and such good results! Great work!
  17. If anyone else has any input, I would greatly appreciate it. I will book it in for a tune and dyno this week sometime.
  18. Gah ok thanks. Not the news I wanted to hear! Once again thanks for your help
  19. I live in Carina Brisbane. I dont know how old the exhaust is as I bought the car 3 weeks ago. I think it would be around 2-3 years old from what cnj have said. Would it damage my car doing what its doing? :S
  20. Hey mate Stalling has been fixed a bit, they cleaned the throttle body and modified it someway as it kept closing and keeping shut, therefore starving the engine of oxygen. has stalled twice in 600kms, so ford is sending it to cnj motorsports to get it fixed. From what I know it has a piggy back computer, full aps exhaust, injectors. From my knowledge it only lost 2psi when I painted the front mount. That wouldn't make that happen would it? Could the really hot weather make it run 2 psi lower? Also, whats it mean when it goes to 15psi when it changes gears? Im new to all this stuff so bare with me please guys
  21. Hey all, Once again my car was in the shop last week for 4 days with stalling issues on the auto. Mind you I bought it only 3 weeks ago, and only had it in my possession for 1.5weeks due to repairs. Now here is the story, there could be 2 reasons. I went in the shop last week due to stalling issues in the auto. Today I spray painted the front mount silver, didn't take it off, just masked everything up through the bumper. Now it only goes to 10psi instead of 12, and when it changes gears it goes to 15psi quickly then back down to 10. What in the world is going on with my car? Did the spray paint on the fins block anything? It was already painted black so I didn't think it would matter :( Please help me as I'm worried it will do damage to it.
  22. Hey all, got it back. It needed, new rear shockies, diff bushes, tailshaft balance plus a heap of other stuff. All fixed and better then ever! Cheers for the help guys and gals
  23. Thanks mate Will be doing this in the coming month!
