  1. when I was considering what to get, my tuner told me the best he could do with out cracking open the motor or supercharging it ($$$$$$) would be 250ish rwkw. so I went for the t and am at over 300rwkws and am staring down the barrel of 340 this week.... tell him to go the t!!

  4. I'm fairly attached to mine, too. I didnt think chrome would look as good on a light colour, but its not too bad imo... lightning strike looks good with a few splashes of red as well.

  9. that's exactly what I said: th volume knob in the centre is premium sound WITH DUAL CLIMATE CONTROL. the other is the normal pov pack air cond controls. premo sound is much more than just colour screen though- 11 speakers, sub, amp. so if you dont buy one with the colour screen, you are missing out on all those extras...

  11. good summary there. but you have to remember that no matter what the product/ manufacturer/ seller, ALL are bound to certain hard written, if not ethical laws that the product they are selling will be servicable for the reasonable life of it. so if sct have stopped making version 1's for years, I guess they are not liable. so who is? I have not had mine for longer than 6 weeks, so as a consumer I have the right for some reinbursement/ refund from who I bought it off. it's my right. so poor mr xyz tuner are really going to cop the costs if a solution cant be found quickly to make older versions still tunable. annoying as it is, sct are no more liable than a car manufacturer would be if the fuel companys decided not to make petrol any more. their product would be just as useless. ever tried to get new parts for an older car from a dealer just to be told they do not make them any more? that happened to a friend of mine with a series 111 au xr8. no new rear bumpers in aust and ford dont make them. frustrating, but its ford's right ONCE the warantee period is over.... sct arent out to make friends, just $$$. and they are gonna do that just fine......

  14. the icc with the volume knob in the centre is the premium sound with dual climate control. some xrt's had this as an option, along with the leather/ suede combo. noice! I had the dual climate icc in my ghia, much better than the standard t, but then again it didnt have over 300 at the rear bags......

  20. apparently the females get swollen cracked and sore butts if they are on heat but dont get pregnant. it is said to be excruciating....
  21. how can I be sure all these things are kept under control other than the obvious: regular coolant checks, trans cooler etc....?
  22. are you getting any signs of trouble? I dont have an issue coughin up the g's to rebuild (my wife does though!) but dont wanna do any thing that's gonna make it go bang straight away. I would have thought that 'asking for trouble' was pushin 20 psi through and wot every take off. but 15 psi? if she holds for a year I'd be happy. if I could have 330rwks or so for that time I'd definitely be happy.

  24. ive got dekas and a walbro pump, so fuel isnt an issue. also only got 60k on the clock so its not tired.....
  25. hi guys, was talking to bruce heinrich this morn about a tidy up of my tune. and he screwed his face up and said its totally my responsibility if I do this as he doesnt like to push stock bottom ends. my ba mkII has 60k on the clock and is tuned to 303rwks @14psi boost. as far as I can tell, there are some of you running higher numbers/ boost with the stock bottom end, but I dont wanna risk a 5k rebuild if mine goes pop when I try to wind in 15 or 16psi. I have all the add on goodies already installed. I would like more torque and maybe 320ish rwkw. recommendations?
